I was depressed when I was 23 graduated from college and got laid off from my job. I heard someone say you are here for a reason so get up! So if anyone is feeling depressed and down just know you are here for a reason 💜 y’all are preaching 👏🏾 thank you for this podcast!
God most definitely spoke to me through this episode.I was listening to a sermon on yesterday and he was speaking about Seek first the kingdom and when I heard it on this episode it gave me confirmation. 💜

My story is very similar in a way I was about to walk into traffic and id set it in my mind I took my meds and said if I feel this way when I wake up I was going to do it. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME I got ready to do what id decided someone interrupted my roommates 2 yr old stood in my doorway staring at me and im like what? Hes like hi giggles and ran away happened 3x then I got dressed and my little brother called hes 10 at the time he was 8 he said he just wanted me to know he loved me then I finally got out the door and my roommates baby dad came and caught my on the porch and asked if he could sit with me about 2 hrs later he went in and suggested I come in too so I wouldn't get a cold I looked out at the street and said yeah ok then I was awaken from an asthma attack and I said well heres my chance no one is here to stop it everyone in the house was asleep and my friend was at work I kid you not I closed my eyes and accepted that I couldn't breathe and I wasn't going to fight it and my friend bust in my room from work and she looked at my face and said no you will not...get up im taking you to the er I shook my head no I mouthed let me go and she struggled lifting me trying to get me to the car and when she didn't I couldn't help crying silently letting the tears fall I spent 2 days in the er for a viral infection and then subsequently went to get help at a mental hospital got into a whole other mess there and when I was released I went right back to being angry started feeling the same way and said id just take my pills and go to forever sleep then I thought about my friends baby finding me so I said id wait until they left fast forward found out I was pregnant and the ideation came from my anti-psyche meds I needed to hear her testimony for sure because I've been drifting and lofe is extremely hard its worse now that I have a baby and im depending on others ...I've felt so defeated ig I needed to get to the end of myself and have someone to live for when I seen this but yall dont know how impactful this was for me
