Rolf was one of those characters where he was cool with you until he felt you crossed the line; like the time Eddy made fun of his sea cucumber balls he took it extremely personal and rightfully so because Eddy showed ZERO empathy or compassion towards his feelings. But then again, I feel like Cul-De-Sac kids actually like Double D but not when he’s with Ed or Eddy because Eddy’s a bad influence on not just DD but also Ed; hence another reason why Sarah never got along with Eddy.

Then immediately cuts to the next scene and the eds are still disrespectful of his property…honestly I don’t blame rolf for that one at all the eds, even double d was uncharacteristically disrespectful to rolf and his courtesy that episode.

When you're a kid, you think Rolf just talks nonsense. But with a better understanding of life plus seeing more of Rolf's family customs, traditions and lifestyle, it becomes all too easy to translate his saying into at least a similar sentiment.

I just met Rolf’s voice actor and he is super nice. He mentioned how they had to separate the voice actors because they couldn’t get through a recording without laughing so it was the Ed’s and then everyone else.
He also said in Rolf’s voice “Kamehameha, Ed boy!” And signed the “you dare mock the son of a Sheppard!” Meme
Literally the best thing I had ever seen on the internet was him doing that in Rolf’s voice

Yeah it’s like fake gibberish pretend German.
Some of Rolf’s flashbacks of his youth have some German style (he’s in the Alps, he’s wearing lederhosen and wearing a Tyrolean hat-) but also some Eastern European, some Russian and some just completely made up stuff.
