Mei Ting, you are awesome. I felt for you as I am also a 24/7 Caregiver. I took care of my 96 years old mother who succumbed with cancer below the ear lobe. My mother too, never utter "pain" during each cleansing (2 times a day). Hospice Malaysia came to teach me everything from A-Z. Seize every opportunity to cherish them - take good care and love them. Once they have passed on, you will miss them. My grandma had cancer. I took very good care of her. Very tiring and drained. She had passed on. I miss her now. My heart is filled with peace and joy. No guilt , no regrets.

I truly understand how tough it is to be a caregiver. I myself were both my late parents caregiver. There were countless mental and physical breakdown. I am thankful to have a very supportive husband and children. Taking care of my parents is always a blessing to me. I am who I am because of their guidance and unconditional love. Nothing is more important than giving them my unconditional love. Both passed away within 6 months, mom this year. I still misses both very much with on and off flashback memories. Cherish every moment while you can..

This is why WFH must continue. Imagine if this lady’s company forced all to WFO like what some other firms are doing now? Who take care of them? Wfh allows us to at least be with our family and spend time with them, so pls don’t force all employees to wfo.
