Alexander Gerlach the golem had 3 air cards, nado, and lightning. Musketeer is the only counter to air and the lightning just kills it instantly. The nado can always 100% counter a hog if played with the right timing and position, and cannon also dies to lightning instantly making the golem go straight for the tower. As a 2.6 player, I can say that modern golem decks hard counter 2.6 and yerson won because of his god-like skill and no one can take that away from him
Jose Chavez but the 2.6 utilizes the towers a lot as an extra air defense. You can also cycle extremely fast to the musketeer, canon, or fireball when you’re in a pinch. I noticed how yerzon was above 5 or even 6 elixir for most of the match. It was probably done on purpose to allow him to cycle if he needed too

I've never seen someone play a golem deck so passively usually my opponent has like 100 elixir and spams literally everything nonstop
