  • It’s a family affair on Eversfield Farm in Devon where Mark and his son and daughter, Hamish and Anna, all do their bit to look after their award-winning organic pork. Mark and family go above and beyond to see their pigs have plenty of room to run to and fro and scurry to their pig arcs for shelter from the sun and rain.

Mark has such a soothing voice. Reminds me of "Whispering" Bob Harris, the DJ and connoisseur of Americana/Country music. He's also one hell of a farmer.

Absolutely beautiful. Do you worm your pigs, and if so, how?

very rarerly as they are outdoor bred and reared and only in bad cases will the vet get involved and that stage they will stay out of the food chain for 90 days. it will be popped in the water troughs and administered through their water

@@sugercane7213 An organic way to do it is to feed them garlic once in awhile and put apple cider vinegar in their water. I do that for my chickens and it works very well

@@dianeveilleux6452 I do the same with garlic for my dog. Never been wormed in his 8 years of existence!

@@jackofallsales4535 According to the Merck Veterinary Manual, garlic and other members of the allium family, including onions, contain thiosulfate, which is toxic to dogs but not to humans. Thiosulfate causes oxidative damage to red blood cells, resulting in hemolytic anemia.

Look at those steep slopes and bare soils in a wet area . bye bye soils, poor old rivers

these are organic, meaning they will not pollute the rivers.
