I loved Dave and the original Showaddywaddy. I can still see Challenger there in the background but doesn't feel like a 50th anniversary tour when it's barely the original band. However, it's good there is a band out there like this keeping the music alive and out to maybe new ears. All great feel good songs.
I think that it is hugely important that Showaddywaddy continue on the memories of years gone by. I loved Showaddywaddy growing up and I have no doubt that all the lads that were in the band in the past would love that there memories and songs that they sung live on. I was 14 yrs old when Showaddywaddy became popular during the 70s and it was a fab time and great craic tbh there wasn't much else but music at the time and Discos had just started OMG what an era. Showaddywaddy just kept popping up in the charts with songs that were great fun to dance to and were catchy ...everyone loved Showaddywaddy and the band today are doing a great job to keep the songs alive and long may they continue. Long Live Showaddywaddy.....
Hi when are you coming to west mids I really like lead singer you came to the robin 2 few years ago. My brother Adam loves you he was bopping but recently he as suffered brain injury love to meet you in the future
Excellent cover, to be fair, but by any wishful thinking or stretch of the imagination, it simply isn't SWW - which was Bartram, Buddy, the Duke, Al, Rod and the rest. Apart from Romeo, it's a tribute act.
Romeo on the drums. They do tell the history of the band to the audiance at this tours appearances. At some shows Dave does make an apperance on stage.
@@Hawkwind77 bit difficult to b the original sww cos Dave gave up singing around 2011. He’s band manager since 1984. 2 are dead, 1 in a care home, 1 retired to Northumberland, 1 doing his own thing and 1 I don’t know what he’s doing
@@PrincessNottingham They're not being rude - just stating a fact - this is NOT Shawaddywaddy, 1 person does not make a group, especially someone on drums! It's not Shawaddywaddy, get a grip!

It makes me feel bad for Romeo.. It must be horrible having to put this show out for money. I don't think any of the musicians are bad but it's got all the energy of a dead tortoise and the cheesy dancing looks forced.
Brilliant.i have always loved the Shawaddy waddy.its still good .give the new ones a chance.x
Seen them in Glasgow last night.. absolutely electric ❤️❤️🎸🤘
brilliant!...Booked tickets for April 2024 and can't wait!
Loved shawaddywadddy back in the day along with The Damned, still like them both today, this is brilliant stuff.
Showaddywaddy and The Damned do not belong in the same sentence.

Good 👍
It’s the equivalent of Triggers Broom handle ….
🤣🤣🤣
All you can hear is the sax, the drums and the singer

The OG Showaddywaddy were basically a tribute band themselves in fairness 😂
This is a "Tribute Band" I don't think there is one original member in this act. And it was "Mud"
who danced like that.
The drummer Romeo Challenger is from the original line up as far as I am aware but that's all
Got to agree it’s a tribute act
Am not sure about this
Nowhere near as good as Dave B !
I know it is what it is
There keeping the Spirit of Showaddywaddy alive Man!!!!
Oh boy oh boy, billy bobs and his sexy wiggle x
@0:50 Campest dance move's ever
Nothing more than karaoke without Dave on lead
He as come so far we nearly lost him. He don't speak much but he says when
Where is the lead singer ????
Fella in the yellow jacket.
Sad
Where is any member of the original band i cant see 1 😂😂

That’s not Showaddywaddy.
That is not Showaddywaddy.. jesus wept.. how to ruin an original group
I’ve seen better tribute acts better than this time to call it a day
More like shoddyrobbie 😂😂
These are: not showaddywaddy… sorry but as a lifelong fan, they are just a cover band… maybe good, but not what you should call the ordinal name.

Lead singer not as good as original.
Not the same sorry
No one’s forcing you to listen. And don’t be so feckin’ rude!!

You could say its showaddy without the waddy. Might as well be a tribute band.
That's not shawaddywaddy, it's a tribute band
Showaddwaddy 1973-1982,good effort but, sorry just not rock n roll to me
We’ll leave the room and close the door on the way out. I dare say the boys don’t give a shite what you think 😂
