The 35% off days are back but the MSRP’s are still at the highest levels they’ve ever been. That needs to change FAST or the RV market will be in big big trouble.
Agree, 1. amazing storage in/out 2. good bathroom given size of RV 3. 450 engine on this small camper is a big plus too. 1.Prefer couch/theatre seating. Something comfortable which dinettes are not.. 2. Not a fan of over the cab tv. Even over the door is preferred. 3. Full queen, even if folding bed, is a must.
We bought a 2019 Freedom Elite 23U and we love it and all but my wife and I always kept saying that if this whole side-slit out it would be perfect and now here it is
Hi Matt and Andrea! My dislikes are the step up to the bedroom and the fold up bed and the twists doors outside. My likes are the shower, the size of the motor home and the size of the living space and the storage inside and out and the weight of the bunk it holds. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
I admit that the tone of grey isn't for everyone but I do like it. It offers something different for once and I feel it goes well with the overall look of the interior.
I’d love this one more if they made the dinette optional. I like a comfortable place to sit, put my feet up, and watch a movie. Or how about adding a backrest/pillow-maybe inflatable so it doesn’t take space-so you can make the dinette into a kind of chaise? And then find a way to get that TV in prime viewing position!
It would be GREAT if they put in a larger oven instead of the drawer under the very small one. You can always keep a couple of post/pans or other small items in the oven to use it as storage when traveling.
We are going to look at one of these units on Monday. I like all the storage both inside and out and it is small enough to dive in and out of parking lots without getting jammed up. Hoping it can come on a Chevrolet Chassis!!
Well Matt I just had to stop video at beginning of this part about the paint color it's not white it's more of light cream or even darker color to a toap SORRY ABOUT THAT!😮
First, Thor needs to name that cabinet color Dinosaur Tooth from now on. Second, Andrea needs to start a store for her cute dresses! Nice floor plan for that size.
I really like this rv, colors and layout. I don't understand why screens in cockpit are so small in rvs. Many cars have 10" screens. I would like a big screen that shows my back up and side cameras at the same time. I also wonder with the fold bed, if it could be replaced with my current adjustable bed base with my tempurpedic mattress. You can fold head and feet up and it comes together with a remote, just need enough length I guess. Seems better than squishing up a thin camper mattress. Also, would love to see security systems that could go in rvs. Love you guys!
What I don't understand is there is no way to use WiFi to link your cell phone to the backup camera. That way, you can place the phone in front of you on the dash while you maneuver your RV into that parking spot. The technology is possible but so many RV brands in this country are stuck in the 1990s.
The bathroom with a porcelain toilet is nice👍but a $138,000 MSRP is very pricey for nothing more than an uncomfortable dinette for seating, a horrible TV position, a folding mattress, a Dollar Store 4” fart fan and cheap twisty outside door latches🙁
@@SpykersB Sold for $138,000 2 years ago during Covid grasshopper👍but I wouldn’t even pay $60,000 for a backbreaking dinette, an unwatchable TV position, a folding mattress, a $2 bathroom fan and junk twisty door latches😂
I own a 22 24f I love the slide out , brilliant space. I love having the tv in the bedroom , so good for bedtime. I love the dining area to eat and do things . I hate the lighting above the dining area, flickers and is too harsh. I hate that my wireless usb charger instantly stopped working , I hate the quality of all the door and storage locks , I need mine all replaced already. Decals on front cap peeled after 2 years. Fantastic CCC. Dislikes: twisty storage door locks, no external tv (deal breaker), no side cameras, step up to bedroom, plastic shower door (deal breaker) , no auto levelling (deal breaker) and cheap looking blinds. Likes: ladder, external and cabinet colors, useable with slides in (except bed), oven, under dinette seating storage, ccc. and pantry.
Here what I think Matt, we like the model, however we wonder has Thor ever thought about replacing the folding bed with a Murphy bed? I know there would be some lost storage, but if the Murphy bed was such that did not require motors to drop into place, there could still be a considerable amount of storage behind and under the Murphy. Accessible from the outside. Just a thought.
I like this motorhome, it looks great. Only 2 things I would change. 1. A wrap around dinette. For some reason they are really hard to find anymore. 2. I don't like fold up beds. We have a 2019 thor 4 winds that is 29'11" tip to tip. It hasn't been the greatest. Hopefully they have improved their fit & finish. No real big problems, most just minor issues. Only 1 major problem that can't be fixed without lots of time & labor.
I am amazed that nodobdy makes what I think would be the best version of this concept, this is to make the cab-over into the main bed by making it 8 inches wider ( effectively queen XL sized, enough for even the tallest people) and then you can move all of the kitchen and the rest to the rear, clearing up the center for a full living room area. Plus, a much larger restroom - all in the back area where the step up is. What you end up with is a huge area taken up by a bed in the back when it's not really required - IF they did a little bit of a redesign.
EDIT - I found one like this, and one that is easy to envision as such: #1: Explorer Pathfinder. No slides, but making the main bed up front and then the rear sofa convertible/a spare gives this little 19 ft (true class B) van as much room as most class Cs. #2: The Odyssey 26m. If you look at it, it's not hard to envision that murphy bed being replaced with a jackknife sofa, the wardrome being pushed to the corner, and the bed over the loft being a little wider to make a giant version of the same thing. Just with slides, a full sized kitchen and bathroom - whatever you need because the one thing that is wasted space diring the day is off to the side where it belongs.
Great idea…..for young people who like going up a ladder into and out of bed, now imagine how us older folks imagine doing that a couple of times throughout the night, lol, NOT! 🍻
@@SpykersB Well, then get one of the traditional other 99.99% of RVs? Jayco does this with one of their Class Bs as well, though in their case, the bed lowers from the ceiling. I'd just love to see it in a class C for once as an option. You can kind of get it with a murphy bed, but the bathroom and kitchen is still small unless it's the front couch as well/up front. With the bed out of the way, it would be much larger and more usable of a space without jumping to 30+ft.

Dude, I love watching you guys but watching you jump off the back of so many RVs is hurting. You and me. I know you’re young (I’m prolly older than your Mom) but your body is going to pay for those repetitive jumps. Your knees and back will accumulate those bodily insults and BAM, you’ll be off your feet, on medications and headed for surgery. I’m a nurse and I see the other side. Please be careful! Unlike an RV you can’t turn yourself in for a new model. Maybe use UStEp every time? Secondly, please don’t minimize Andrea’s descriptions. She’s spot on about many things, including color and design. Those cabinets are not white and indeed if they were very few people would want them. White is technically, and by definition, the absence of color. Think hospitals. If you’re talking “saber tooth” (love that BTW) or beige or any other descriptor then it ain’t white. Close, but no cigar. Eggshell, Ecru, Cream, whatever, are all softer and much more pleasing to the eye. So maybe you can let Andrea run with it on the colors? Most men I’ve known, starting with my Dad, view color much as you do but a lot of us don’t. Give and take. Thanks for being so straight up in your reviews. I’ll be buying towards the end of the year and have gone from trailers to Renegade Vienna or LTV, to short Entegra Esteem, to Bay Star, to Winnebago Vista/Sunstar National Park while watching your videos. God knows where I’ll land in December but I know the journey will be fun! Take care. Jane
Possible new sayings if you are kind enough to approve for Matt's use: •As you are aware. As you have been made aware. As has been made aware to you. As no doubt you are aware… As you will be aware… As you have gleaned… As you have undoubtedly heard. As you realize. Take a chill pill dude.
The 35% off days are back but the MSRP’s are still at the highest levels they’ve ever been. That needs to change FAST or the RV market will be in big big trouble.
It will, you're going to see massive price cuts and huge layoffs.

Take care. Jane
Firstest, yay
Not white

Not white !
It's not white Matt. 😂
I'd go with 'cream' as the shade, on this phone.
😊
Stop saying "you know what I'm saying"
Possible new sayings if you are kind enough to approve for Matt's use:
•As you are aware.
As you have been made aware.
As has been made aware to you.
As no doubt you are aware…
As you will be aware…
As you have gleaned…
As you have undoubtedly heard.
As you realize.
Take a chill pill dude.
It's NOT white.
White-ish?
Nothing "new" to see here...the class c's haven't changed much in years. They need to be more innovative as far as floor plans.
Matt, do NOT argue with Andrea!!! She is your wife and you know She is always right!!! Besides that, She's much better looking than you! 🥰
Seriously, for for your healths' sake consider a salad every now and then
