    David, the fact that you, as a professional artist with decades of experience and quality work, still have enough humility and humbleness to admit that you still have difficulty says volumes. Thank you, sir, for the tutorials and for keeping things real. THAT is what inspires me to keep drawing.

    I just want to say that your videos have helped me immensely. I went from not being able to draw simple things after quitting nearly ten years ago to doing full blown pieces that I then practice rendering on. You do a fantastic job and I hope so see many more videos

    Thank you so so much for making this Dave! I would absolutely love for this format of videos to be expanded to other parts of the body as well! It's so humbling to see you learning new things even after having so much experience already, it's wonderful to see, but also the fact that you're willing to share the fact that you're still learning adds to what makes you the GREATEST art teacher on TH-cam! Also I think it would be really cool to see you try out digital art because for me personally, I don't know what it is about switching from paper to digital, but I just cannot get the same quality of illustrations on digital as paper (I know for a fact it's my problem, but I'm continuing to work on it).

    hi david 👋 ive been following you for around a year now, and all of your work is amazing!!! if you’re open to making another tutorial video, i have a request. when drawing a portrait of a character’s face, how do i make their individual features look recognizable in complex angles? i’ll explain a bit; say a character has a flat, hooked nose. how would i render it recognizable from a really steep bird’s eye view? like one look at it and you’re like, “yeah, that’s this character!”
    but no pressure! seeing your drawings is already more than enough for me to learn from alone

    David, what kind of tape is that green tape on your lead holder? Looks like a elastic grip tape. What is it called and is it available on Amazon?
    BTW: I've purchased almost all of your courses from your website. I totally recommend them to everyone. I've learnt a great amount from them and totally improved my drawings. Thank you David Finch !!!

    Why does americans make every superhero Hunchback? It's hilarious reading American magazines and actually looking at the anatomy which always are so hilarious twisted, whoever draws those really should go back to art school and study anatomy where they probably got a F previously (just like mr. Finch)

    • @bawrbxokurdistan8486
      @bawrbxokurdistan8486 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      hunchback? you mean leaning forward thay do that for making it look more alive instead of looking stiff.
      I don't see it as hilarious make because I don't compare it to what you compare to would you like to show me what comic book style doesn't look hilarious to you since you don't like "American" comic style.
      and mr finch is a Canadian artist not a American artist don't call him that it's like calling a Japanese artists as oriental artist .

      Because Americans actually have back muscles, not like little weakling people in other countries..ha..
