- I Hosted A Circuit Battle that puts two rec room circuiters head to head in a circuits battle to see who could make the better invention within a 30 minute time limit. Each contestant must make an invention using rec room circuits (cv1 or cv2) based around a theme, then they are given a random rec room prop they must incorporate. This is my 1st attempt at making this style of content and through the course of the video we learn that some major changes have to be made for next time.

For now i will just do a 1 v1 every once in a while no tournament maybe one day if i can get the packaging right
You could have two separate timers maybe like phases, like 30 minutes for building and 30 for circuits?
thats a good idea, i think if i at least give a bit of planning or practice before had they will be better
Could you make a level system so after time they level up and it shows over their head and if they leave it stays and if they click a button it will show their playtime/level on a board
Thats alot eventually i think so but no guarantees

I really like this concept, however you defintely should add more to it!
For example, base it on a score with categories. On a scale of 1-10, how well does the system work? How organised are the circuits? How optimised is it? How complicated is it? Stuff like that! Add up the scores and declare the winner with that in mind, plus it would add a tiny bit more content!

@@theRCLman Maybe you can give them the concept, then they have the day to work on it and get a "prototype" or a completely finished product, then present the next day? Possibly have a "Bug-Test & Fix" 'Phase' to optimise and fix issues found, then judge the final product.
Hey i know this isnt related to the video but how do i make a trigger volume become part of an object? I want to make it so you respawn when my monster touches you
use a cv2 clamp, connect the triggervolume to the gold pin on top and the monster to the black part

so in order to reduce you need to try as well as you can to get the circuits to run on only the room authority players circuits or in the case of a monster following have it running on the system of the person who has authority of the monster object
you can also it you have mulriple 30 hz recievers try to reduce it so that you have 1 30 hz reciever running all

@@theRCLman well the thing is, is that I do use the “If local player is authority” chip but every time I run the circuits the net heat just sky rockets to 98 percent which just stops it

I do think a team would be better, even still with the inventions, a room might have to be team vs team
i personally think you should give them maybe 45 mins or 1h design time and then like 30 mins circuit time

@@theRCLman i reckon building should be the longer one so they have more time to make their design look good. circuits doesnt really have to be organised or good-looking, but it just makes it easier to read ig
Well also for a circuit battle we don’t need to make it look good I was stalling while thinking about what I wanted to go with this and I think if we knew the thing we were gonna be tasked with like the theme but not the prop we probably wouldn’t of spend so much time on designing or atleast I wouldn’t have

Hey could you make a quick Vid or tell me how to make different skydomes for different areas in the map once you enter it changes then once you leave the area it changes to a different skydome but it doesn't change the entire map or is visible only to the player that is in that area? wasn't sure how to word it because of Autism but I tried

i might make a vid, but bool variables can only be true or false, bools are also always set to false when a room is first started, so if you hook a bool to an if chip the execution will come out the else side if false, and the then side if true. do you have maybe a more specific question i could help with

using the get all players chip and for each chip u need to make a string list and convert the player to a string using the To String chip the add the player string to the list
