To everyone saying that's not Wallace's real voice, Peter Sallis who originally voiced Wallace is now 94 and has retired. Hence why they brought in a new actor
Regardless, the new voice actor has done a pretty good job at imitating it, it's not easy to match such talent.

+Bethan Munday That's only normal. I mean, I am pretty sure even the film didn't had the same voice actor. Beacause even when not retired, he was still aged, and therefore he probably couldn't do theses intonations anymore.

What I just don’t understand is that Mr Paneer had to ban Wallace from the festival of cheese and Crumpets due to an accident in the store with that Sniffer. I can understand that he has a job to protect the people on west wallaby street under constable order, but i think that was a bit harsh though if I was the character in that situation though Wallace May had did wrong I would have forgave him and give him only a warning to be careful and do pay back for damages after the party not ban him.

I know it's a game, but the voice actor of Wallace doesn't even SOUND like the real Wallace.
To be fair, this was Ben Whitehead's first time voicing Wallace so it's understandable that he wouldn't have the voice perfect yet. If you look at the more recent Wallace and Gromit adverts though, you can see that he has definitely improved since.

I think Wallace's voice in this is really good. Sure it's no Peter Salis but it's far from worse.
It's strange how many people seem to think that Wallace & Gromit are -only- about the animation method used to do the cartoons.
I've really been enjoying this. I always liked Wallace, because while he may be a little weird, at least he always tries to be a gentleman. Gromit is cool too, for many of the same reasons, plus a sort of silent cynicism. This game captures all of those things perfectly.

That’s because he retired after Loaf and Death and soon died in 2017. He will always be our cheese-loving inventor.
Wallace was voiced by Ben Whitehead after Peter's retirement, and episode 3 has some out-of-character outtakes that include swearing.

Is this an American CGI imitation? Wallace asked Gromit, "Did you bring the mail Gromit?" In the original claymation ones Wallace always called it the post not the mail..

I noticed that all road constructions signs back in the 1970's said Men At Work, then after the band Men At Work became famous, suddenly all of the signs said Men Working. Also not PC by today's standards. They might say People Working.
I liked the Men At Work signs because it allowed you to believe that they were simply At Work, but not necessarily working. lol

Telltale have their own specific engine for making adventure games, and it's designed specifically for 3D games. If this game were made more recently they'd definitely be able to get the visual look of plasticine down more (this game was made five years ago) but it'd require different tools (as well as access to a space with lighting rigs, sets and cameras) to make the entire game in stop-motion like the shorts.
Can you imagine if this game got the proper stop motion look?
Crackshot was the hardest achievement, but there is a simple solution. First make a bookmark on "Your Game" menu. After you shoot down a bee and trap it just exit the turret and save after each one was trapped. They wont respawn if you trapped them.

Your spellcheck is using American English, so of course it'll list a spelling not used in your dialect as incorrect.
'Gaol' used to be standard spelling in the UK. Wallace is an older man in Northern England, so it'd be the spelling he uses day-to-day. A lot of stuff in Wallace and Gromit is setting-specific.

Alright, I think I need to tell a few words to everyone who complains.
First, as traditionnal hand drawn animation is my passion, I cannot deny
that yes, stop motion is better, but you see, in a game there is
technic limmitations. Remember that telltale is a small and minor
company, that doesn't have much budget (it was originnally funded by
poeple who quit Lucas Arts beacause sequels and remakes were canceled
when nearly finnished due to the owners thinking they won't sell much.)
They really did what they could in orded to reproduce the aardman style,
and also, consider that this has aged. Of course, 3d nowadays could do
better immitations, but... Well, I don't think telltale could do any
better with their means. Honestly, can you deny the fact that they had
done well to reproduce the ellements of the original serie: the
contraptions, the titles, the newspapers, the music, the hummour, the
characters expressions, even when they talk, you would notice that they
reduced the frame rate on purpose to immitate what the stop motion does,
beacause Aardman uses a set of mouths, eyes and facial expressions they
made in advance and re-uses for the movie. That's what they revealed,
and it is only natural. After all, there is such an ennormous efforts
made on any movements on the studio's films, so of course they re-use
their models. Cgi does the same, but what's different is that cgi is
indeed faster, but not infinitely. And to return to the game, you could
also notice they added plasticine effects on the models to make it even
more close to the original. Gromit's eye's expressions is perfectly
reproduced, wich was of course very important since it's his only mean
of interaction, has his mouth is aways hidden and he cannot talk. They
also respected the fact they change job at each episodes, of the fact
that Wallace's plans always seems to have been drawn by a 4 years-old
kid. And there is so more to say about it that it would take too long.
And concerning the voices, well... I just watched the four short films a
few minutes ago and I think the actor here did great as well. And
remember that wallace and gromit is old, so the actor aged and, even
without being retired, I am sure he could not perform wallace anymore.
The intonations are very high, after all. Honestly, it is a bit lower
that tho original voice, but not much, anyone whodo not reckognize the
effor of the actor here is not just biased, but truly denying beacause
his love for the original creations (wich I can undestand, do not worry,
I love it as much as you do) is clouding his judgement. I also suspect
that since it's a bit old, many of you are adults and probably don't
like video games, wich I can also understand beacause yes, there is many
cheap video games, but try to understand: the is also artistics games,
there is also games where you can see the developer's efforts, as well
as there are many cheap movies but not too many artistic cinema,
unfortunately. And for this game, welll... There is, like any thing has,
bad points, like the fact that only the story is really crazy, meaning
the puzzles arent as much as they were in other games by the same
authors, like thoses they did when they were still working for Lucas
Arts (Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max hit the road) or
the more recents sam & max seasons, so yes, well, that's too bad,
but at least the scenario is good. It is one example, of course, but
then again, my point is that you forgot that it cannot be axactly the
same thing, and that is for many freasons, but the main is: it's a video
game, so as there is a player that controls the characters, and well...
It changes a lot of things. So, please, try to think before commenting.
That way, no matter what YOUR opinion is, you can explain it without
false affirmations and that stay personnal. Everyone can exprime their
opinion, but remember that if you say something is wring, then you have
to explain how it is. And if you don't want to, simply say YOU do not
like, but then again... it is better to give reasons, as well as it is
better to give resaons if you say that you actually like something.
