I have a at 48hd 5 years old and I cut a bumpy rough terrain, grass gets high somtimes. This Gravely kicks butt!!!! I’m changing hydro belt for first time and could use some pointers. Do prevented maintenance and never had a problem with it. Like I said it kicks butt !! First problem ever had is trying to change hydro belt from manual that came with it. Anyone help please need to get back to cutting now before rain. Thanks Ken Mandiville La
I figured that hydro belt out found real mechanic do it on a different one but he said most of the Gravley’s were the same with the clutch in the back the drive belt is on top you have to take the deck belt off first not too bad of a job especially if you put it on a lift rolling on the ground didn’t get it too good for my old bones. Thanks
I was expecting a video about changing the belt based on the video title. Didn't think you were just going to walk around talking about the problem while looking at another mower.
Shannon Mollenhauer I agree. AND we had made no assumptions. What's the title say? Came to here yo hopefully learning about the belt. Don't care yu got tu use. Big deal..
The Pro Turn 152 is what i bought in June of 2014. I just use it for home use on my 5 acre place. I have never had any thing go wrong with mine except for blades wearing down. Living here in southern Florida with sandy soil is hard on them, that's why i keep 4 sets on hand. I had the filters changed on hydro when it was to be redone. I was going to buy a Scag but salesman talked me out of it. Only thing i wish i had bought was one with 60 inch deck, but it is what it is. I seen the new ones but mine only has 250 hours on it, so guess not buying new
Honestly the 52 is way more versatile than a 60 inch and if you really pay attention to the width of your cut your not loosing but a few inches. mine is doing great now with over 100 hours in just 3 shorts months and I run two mowers. I adjusted the baffles which I made a video on and it made all of the difference. Thanks for watching.
Just had this happen on a brand new 24 zthd, just shy of 8 hours, ripped one of the fans off but the belt looks intact and I can't see why it happened. Did it hold up for you after the dealer replaced it?
I went to look at Gravelys today , I drooled on the PT 460 a little but like you , I think the PT 152 is the most versatile . They had some with Yamaha motors in them , not sure about that . Think I'll stick with kawi until I hear some feed back on those Yamaha motors. Hey, while I was there I looked at the new Cub Cadet ProZ line . If there is any near you , you should go look at the Pro Z 960 or 972 . Those mowers are beasts ! They weigh in around 1500 lbs ! heavy duty ! Run speed up to 14 ! More mower than I'll ever need but fun to look at !
Next time you have a issue just pull the hydro releases and it moves with ease . Dragging it destroys the hydros . I haven’t had a issue with my 2017 ZT hd or my pro turn 260 . My ZT gets a lot of abuse and hasn’t had a issue with all the abuse of over 100 yards sorry for the issues man
The pro turn 152 really is a dream ride on residential and yards with acreage. I've test drive the 200 and 400 series and they are just too big unless your mowing fields all day.
My hydro belt on the ZT HD broke after 33 hours of use on just my own yard this first season. Warranty replacement but now I'm trying to figure out how much I have to take apart to get it back on. Owner's manual skips a lot of instructions about the process.

I took the baffles out of my pro turn. Seems to cut better. Blow out is pretty bad tho ‘

Shannon Mollenhauer sorry about your assumptions and my title lol. I need to make a video of how to change it. It's not too hard. Thanks for watching
Yes!

Big deal..
It’s really not a big deal guy….
Think maybe you can help show how to purge/bleed hydro lines
I let my dealer do that so it will be under warranty. If I ever do I will for sure film it.

This video is useless

@ianculp9507 it did hold up. We no longer run gravely for cur quality reasons. Great machines but the cut quality for us is better on other brands.

Nice. Thanks for watching. Yeah 400 is tooooooo heavy.
WH I've never in my life heard anyone doubt a Yamaha motor before lol

my gravely did the same thing 2weeks after I bought it
J & A's Lawn Care J.Hollis Yeah mine did it with less than an hour but haven't had a problem in over 200 hrs
Me neither I have 200 on it now no problem since then
I hope the dealer prepared it right for you.
Me too. Just hit a yard and it did fine. I'll keep you guys posted.

Go to Napa and see if they can cross reference your belt for a Kevlar belt. Kevlar belts last a lot longer !!
Tractor Supply carries Kevlar Belts. For large OEM cross-reference database and great prices, checkout... www.vbeltguys.com/
Have u ever demo the pt 252? What's ur input on buying one
Yeah I didnt like it or the 460. I swapped from gravely. Cut quality just isnt there. I run ferris and John deere now
I need a diagram to put a ground belt on zero turn Zt 2350
Carrie Tidwell there may be one online.
How is the zt hd? I've been having that one on my radar for a while. Planning on using it for residential work only. No landscape or commercial stuff.
It's nice. Cuts great. Good power.
