This is crazy, so fantastic! Totally sounds like Natsume music from the 90s, from games like power rangers (snes), wild guns, ninja warriors. Sounds similar to the power rangers theme song, same instruments, but completely new song and also kind of sounds like a reference to the snes stage 1. The only thing missing in this game is white ranger character dlc.

it's not out of the question the trailer uses a retooled/older mix than the final game that'll likely only come out later on once someone posts something that isn't directly in the files

It's not in game files, that is for sure. You could ask an artist directly if they can share that theme variant, they're active on twitter

I really hope the composer can release it at some point, as good as the final version of this track is I think I prefer the old pitched up one.
