Boy was I way off in guessing the piggy's weight. I guessed Lola at 325, Olivia 225 and Bella 200. Interesting way to find out how much they weigh. People don't realize they are being offensive and probably are like that with others too. I think they are what is called Entitled these days...basically they are know it alls. Lea Ann, I cannot imagine putting my life out there for others to see and comment on what I do and don't do right. I wouldn't last one video. You and all of your family have targets on your backs for putting your lives out there. If you didn't do this, of course, we would miss you terribly, and if you stopped I would get it. I am older than the both of you, my boys are older than your boys. I have three too. I can’t help but to. Calling you guy Grandma and Grandpa Adler I Doss. My husband passed away 16 years ago next month. I lost my oldest Son at 49 from cancer. The reason I am telling you this is because after my husband passed away I did nothing but go to the cemetery and sit by my husbands grave. But one night I had my phone and was on you tube and seen this guy carrying the cutest little guy ever. I started watching because of Adler. Then I seen Grandpa feeding the animals and widening the path and lots of big spiders o the path. Now I watch all three of you, love Kyle and Shannon too. My point is you guys help me pass my time away. I love your whole family and totally enjoy the rare occasion that I get to see you all in one place. So fun. Ralph & LeaAnn, I've only had dogs & cats my entire life. I have 2 cats now. With that being said, watching a Grandpa Doss Farms video is like coming "home" no matter who is in the video. I lost my bride of 39 years on Thursday and one of the things that has helped me maintian some form of sanity is faith in our lord and wonderful people such as you two. Grandpa Doss you keep it real and always find the joy in what your doing and it shines thru. People have to understand that to enjoy the sun you have to know the rain. I love when you both sit and talk it brings joy to this old mans heart to sit and soak in the wisdon and knowledge you convey. Never let the keyboard warriors change you they have nothing better to do then to steal your joy to quench their dry soul. God has gifted you this platform to touch lives that may never have been touched. I was a newly retired elementary school teacher, but I became a student of farm life because of the Doss family. And the fact that you all have a strong faith made it even better. I love Matt and I saw true love and respect in his eyes for his father. He knew his fathers heart was hurting and he was using the humor to cheer his father to keep him from being so sad. While I was watching that episode for first time it made me tear up knowing that Matt was fighting all his emotions out of concern for his papa! Ralph you are loved so much!

I won’t say anymore from this point on. I’m very sensitive to pain because I’m in pain every minute so I worry about Ryleigh and it’s an easy fix if she doesn’t get infected or torn and her brother doesn’t know. Anyway 8 won’t say any more about anything I’m sure the animals will do well and I love to watch those beautiful chickens. The colors of their feathers , their pecking order amazes me.

I know I've said it before and I'm saying it again..... Don't change a thing! Your honesty and your faith and your families' closeness is what I admire and enjoy the most, and it doesn't hurt that little Adler is cute as a button either! Haters are going to hate and chances are there is something bad in their life so they lash out to bring others down. Also, Ralph hit the nail on the head about being able to interpret the tone of someone's e-mail. When you talk face to face you can see the expression on their face and you can hear the inflection in their voice whereas a text, comment or email are flat. To those who were praying for my two daughters that were giving birth 6 weeks apart, the second baby was born on Tuesday. A big healthy beautiful baby boy. My first daughter had a very terrifying dangerous birth that ended in an emergency C Section. Thank God she and her baby girl were ok but I think I had second hand trauma because when my second daughter was being induced in the same manner I drove home sobbing and begging God to protect my daughter and her baby. In his mercy he did just that and two days later her baby boy was born. I can’t thank all of you enough for your prayers and concern. I felt them and I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that God heard your prayers and they helped. My gratitude to all of you and the Doss family know no end. My Grandchild count doubled in 6 weeks. I am so relieved. Resting at the cottage watching this Grandpa Doss Farms video! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for bringing this family together. 😊❤️

The piggy’s do look like they have lost weight. You and Grandma are wonderful! Tell the naysayers to go pick a tick, as my grandma use to say ( I know it is a weird saying, but it always made the other person stop with the negative comments, because they would have to stop and think about what she just said). We fed our pigs grain mixed with enough water to make it sloppy, we called it slop. We usually threw some ears of field corn to keep them busy and they do love corn. These are your pigs and they look healthy and are happy. I think you take very good care of all the animals, even naming the chickens.
There is a big difference in feeding hogs to eat and pet breeds of pigs. It is very unhealthy for pet pigs to be fat. They can live a long life. My pot belly was 17 but won't live as long if they have health issues and arthritis from carrying to much weight.

Ya'll are doing great with all the animals! The pigs are getting little pig figures and soon they'll be old enough to date, so watch out! As far as Matt, my family comes from a long line of morbid laughter (as we call it). Example: After my mom found out she had terminal cancer, 6-7 turkey buzzards were on the roof of her house. We all walked out to see them and my mom holds her fist into the air and says, I'm not dead yet, so go away. My daughters and I just bust out laughing, because we knew it would be morbid laughter time from then to the end. The day we buried my mother I looked at the grave and in front of 100+ people said, hey mom there are no turkey buzzards around. You'll be OK! I heard about 15-16 people trying hard not to laugh. I did get some bad looks, but I just smiled at those people.

The reason I am telling you this is because after my husband passed away I did nothing but go to the cemetery and sit by my husbands grave.
But one night I had my phone and was on you tube and seen this guy carrying the cutest little guy ever. I started watching because of Adler. Then I seen Grandpa feeding the animals and widening the path and lots of big spiders o the path.
Now I watch all three of you, love Kyle and Shannon too.
My point is you guys help me pass my time away.
I love your whole family and totally enjoy the rare occasion that I get to see you all in one place. So fun.

I lost my bride of 39 years on Thursday and one of the things that has helped me maintian some form of sanity is faith in our lord and wonderful people such as you two. Grandpa Doss you keep it real and always find the joy in what your doing and it shines thru. People have to understand that to enjoy the sun you have to know the rain. I love when you both sit and talk it brings joy to this old mans heart to sit and soak in the wisdon and knowledge you convey. Never let the keyboard warriors change you they have nothing better to do then to steal your joy to quench their dry soul. God has gifted you this platform to touch lives that may never have been touched. I love Matt and I saw true love and respect in his eyes for his father. He knew his fathers heart was hurting and he was using the humor to cheer his father to keep him from being so sad. I won’t say anymore from this point on. I’m very sensitive to pain because I’m in pain every minute so I worry about Ryleigh and it’s an easy fix if she doesn’t get infected or torn and her brother doesn’t know. Your honesty and your faith and your families' closeness is what I admire and enjoy the most, and it doesn't hurt that little Adler is cute as a button either! Also, Ralph hit the nail on the head about being able to interpret the tone of someone's e-mail. When you talk face to face you can see the expression on their face and you can hear the inflection in their voice whereas a text, comment or email are flat. Just words that can be taken in ill spirit. We'll pray for the ones who are constantly negative that their lives improve and that eventually they have some happiness and write something positive. To those who were praying for my two daughters that were giving birth 6 weeks apart, the second baby was born on Tuesday. A big healthy beautiful baby boy. My first daughter had a very terrifying dangerous birth that ended in an emergency C Section. Thank God she and her baby girl were ok but I think I had second hand trauma because when my second daughter was being induced in the same manner I drove home sobbing and begging God to protect my daughter and her baby. In his mercy he did just that and two days later her baby boy was born. I can’t thank all of you enough for your prayers and concern. I felt them and I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that God heard your prayers and they helped. My gratitude to all of you and the Doss family know no end. My Grandchild count doubled in 6 weeks. I am so relieved. Resting at the cottage watching this Grandpa Doss Farms video! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for bringing this family together. 😊❤️

We fed our pigs grain mixed with enough water to make it sloppy, we called it slop. We usually threw some ears of field corn to keep them busy and they do love corn. These are your pigs and they look healthy and are happy. I think you take very good care of all the animals, even naming the chickens.
There is a big difference in feeding hogs to eat and pet breeds of pigs. It is very unhealthy for pet pigs to be fat. They can live a long life. My pot belly was 17 but won't live as long if they have health issues and arthritis from carrying to much weight.

Ya'll are doing great with all the animals! The pigs are getting little pig figures and soon they'll be old enough to date, so watch out! As far as Matt, my family comes from a long line of morbid laughter (as we call it). Example: After my mom found out she had terminal cancer, 6-7 turkey buzzards were on the roof of her house. We all walked out to see them and my mom holds her fist into the air and says, I'm not dead yet, so go away. My daughters and I just bust out laughing, because we knew it would be morbid laughter time from then to the end. The day we buried my mother I looked at the grave and in front of 100+ people said, hey mom there are no turkey buzzards around. You'll be OK! I heard about 15-16 people trying hard not to laugh. I did get some bad looks, but I just smiled at those people.

Lola to me looks smaller. She seems to be able to walk better. You can only do what is best for your animals and that takes time. I bet in a month you'll see more of a difference. Please Pray for the policeman in LA that just got shot in the back of the head while sitting in his patrol car. His poor family needs all the prays they can get.
