Warren: “So far the system has worked pretty well…”

Maybe it's just me. I always feel like Charlie is more blunt and honest than Warren when they talk about subjects involving the government and politics. Warren also said, “A lot of people want a little bit of inflation but nobody wants a lot of inflation." Inflation is also the term for the higher cost of living. If you replace "inflation" with "higher cost of living" in the same sentence it will be “A lot of people want a little bit of higher cost of living but nobody wants a lot of higher cost of living." Really? If that's the case, Walmart and Costco should change their slogan from "lowest price every day" to something like "a little bit of higher price every day." And see if their customers like it.
By the way, the cost of living is directly correlated with the standard of living. The higher the cost of living, the lower the standard of living, and vice versa.

Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invt decisions being guided by a invt-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a invt-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million

I watched this video to get a feel on how bad our state of affairs are. BRICS coming together with more countries joining including Mexico, loss of Petrodollar, printing more money causing inflation.... our debt ceiling increasingly being hit every year where foreign investors aren't willing to pay for it... we are headed down the path to Hell. It only took 2 months of mumbles about a recession before US hit the financial crisis of 2008. It took two years for the USSR to fall. Rome fell after being in a constant state of surplus. Every empire falls eventually. We are not too big to fail. And when we do, other countries will attack us at our lowest.

we have had a massive debasement of our currency over past 2/3 years. thhere is a lot more inflation to come .
this loss in buying power is furthur spooking foreigners from buying our debt adding to fears from sanctions and seizures. the more they stay away, the more will be added to fed bal sheet leading to even more inflation. much of the extra cash is in stock market helping account for overvaluations. stagflation is most likely future.

You really don't think Warren knew what he said when he said for sale and maturity. Everything becomes for sale and if you know when bonds will mature you know as well when there's cash. So what he's saying is when bonds are cheap buy them. Cash is trash since the governments are defaulting on their currencies and print new money.
