    what other brand TPMS sensors can you program with Autel? I was told by Autel it can only do Autel brand TPMS sensors, but you just proved them wrong. Thanks for the awesome videos.

      The MK808BT is not a full TPMS tool, so it can't program universal TPMS sensors. Only Autel tools that end with 'TS' have this function.

    can i relearn or program different brand sensors or does have to be only autel sensors?

    • @DIYAutoworksNG
      @DIYAutoworksNG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The tool can relearn 98% of TPMS sensors on the market today, OEM plus aftermarket. It does not have to be Autel sensors.
      However, support for programming sensors is limited. Note that you only need programming if you buy universal sensors. These are sensors that can fit almost any car. Autel MX sensors are the main ones supported although as you must have seen in the video, there are other brands of TPMS sensors that can be programmed. The manufacturers of the sensors will usually clearly mark the sensor as so. These CGSULIT sensors were clearly marked as being programmable using an Autel TPMS tool.

    • @DIYAutoworksNG
      @DIYAutoworksNG  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the method of programming you use. If you choose 'copy by OBD' method, you'll have to be connected to the vehicle, but you use the 'autocreate' method, you don't need to be connected to the vehicle. That's the method I used in programming the sensor to the Ford I talked about in the video.

    • @DIYAutoworksNG

      The causes are varied and include failure of ID registration (no feedback from all the tire sensors), fault, short or poor connection in the circuit for the receiver antenna for the TPMS, faulty ECU.
      Next thing you should do is to use a TPMS tool to read the sensors directly at the tires. If you get no feedback from the tires, the cause is likely the first.
