It's from watching Chommang that I think I realized that shape and perspective are so much more important than line quality. You can always fix the line quality later, but if the shapes aren't right, it will never look how you wanted it.
Its more elementary than that, its spatial reasoning and learning to see shapes and spaces between shape. Drawing is more about seeing than drawing itself.
