    My son-in-law loved the Nine Line wallet that you made for him last Christmas. It really was a great piece and a perfect gift!
    You're getting busy enough to need some hardworking assistants pretty soon. You have my old "I knew you back when..." application...it's still good! 😉

    Fine job showing how to distress the face of the leather. How about a tip on how to distress the edges of a good piece of hide?

    God, I learned a lot from this video thank you. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to crackle leather but there is no tutorial anywhere on how to do this, since you are a professional leather worker I am wondering if you knew any methods on how to quickly age and crackle leather???

    • @southbounddiaries
      @southbounddiaries  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Quick aging can be done by sanding and working the leather more. I've actually seen people tie leather behind cars and drive around parking lots

      Engrave at slower speeds. Engrave before you dye.

    Not trying to be a dick.. but that definitely didn't look distressed after all of that. It looked like a brand new leather wallet, lol. I definitely enjoyed the video and the level of detail you put into it, just not what I imagine when thinking of distressed leather.
