Some tricks I discovered in Madden 23, and I'm sure it's the same in 24, is tricking their motivations. Sometimes they're motivation to resign is hampered by the scheme you are running - so easy cheat, go change the scheme to something that will make them a scheme fit - works 90% of the time and then after they sign go back to your original scheme. Another motivation cheat involves the Mentor tag. Some players want a Mentor at the position, if you don't have one an easy fix is to pick up a player in Free Agency that has the tag - the player now signs and you can cut the Free Agent you signed. If there isn't a free agent with the mentor tag, well you can do the position change cheat with any free agency mentor or any mentor you might have on your team. Another motivation to watch is Top of the Depth Chart - simply move them to the 1 spot for whatever position, sign, move back to where they belong.
Used to do this all the time in franchise mode in like Madden 08. Before you start a franchise, you move like Peyton Manning to kicker, cut him, lower his attributes, move him back to QB then sign him, change his attributes back to what they were before moving him to kicker and now you have a big head start in your earnings for the year and a Peyton Manning who is earning substantially less than $90 million a year.
Damnit I wish i found this video yesterday. I just signed CJ Stroud to a 7 year $330mil deal lol along with big deals to Will Anderson, Derek Stingly and an Xfactor RB i drafted
I like to hoard draft picks and then just trade draft picks for my players instead of resigning them. That circumvents bonuses, and I usually end up getting my players for less than half price. My team is stacked, and I'm seldom even close to my salary cap
One thing that I have done with looking at a big salary bump is to resign them but then edit the contract to add new money to the current year and lessen the annual salary for the rest of the deal. You can do this by editing the new contract and going to the bonus and adding or subtracting just one dollar value to make it happen. Dummy example: I have a DT making $1.28 and I resigned him for 2 years and $8.2 so I edit the contract and now he's on a 3 year contract and his 2023 salary is $2.99 and his two new contract years are $3.15 and $3.35. This was a small extension but you can see that if you had a 90+ ovr in a contract year and he's looking at a $15M bump, this hack helps tremendously. You just need the current cap space.
Big issue with contracts man. Any user in CFMs have the ability to change the ages of anyone they choose. No way for Commishes to even know. Move age to 40, resign for a cheap 7yr deal, move back to 20 or whatever it was if trying not to get caught
@@JacobReid Unfortunate that these things exists at all, or that there is in fact a need for them in order to have any kind of true customization or alterations involving contracts within the game.
Another thing you can do in madden 24 is restructuring contracts (backloading contracts only) like if your paying maomes his IRL contract you can give him 20 mill or however much less but it backloads all that owed money onto the back of the last 3 years of the contract. If your in the last 3 years of that contract it will just move the owed money into the next few year(s)
I just joined a madden league they are in year two and they are pretty much able to do tons of things and I’ve noticed a lot of players are out of their natural position and I’m seeing now why I really appreciate this video because I have a stacked defense and I just acquired adían Hutchinson and it seems like he’s up for contract talks and right now he’s currently not interested and I just gave up a lot for him lol he needs to resign and I will definitely have to do this lol
What about if you are doing player instead of coach? I was offered a contract but hit no instead of yes by accident. Is there a way I can still resign?
Lazy devs don’t put enough effort into making things in franchise make sense and work correctly. The Madden devs have also publicly stated that they don’t pay attention to real football, so…

I need to redo a franchise fantasy draft where maholmes is a kicker 😅
at that point why not just edit his contract and make it 0
@@ScythPlayz You can't edit his contract, only his attributes. He still has to get paid.
Wtf this is just cheating the whole game 🤣
@@tastefullys and you expected what in a video titled 'How To Cheese Re-Sign Players In Madden 24 Franchises'?
I have no idea why it added an extra 4 blank minutes to this video lol. Working on trimming that off now

New coach perks are a game changer. +1-3 speed, throw power, etc
Try +3 speed

This is one of the best videos about Franchise mode! Thank you for the content. 35 million a year to Parsons at RE… not at MLB! Thanks bro

I tried this on jake elliot, but he's not interested cause of motivation is there a way to fix that

The team could tag you, or you’ll get contract options in the offseason. Just have to hope your team is one of the ones who makes an offer
Why isn't the signing bonus spread out a 20 million signing bonus on a 4 year deal is really an 80 million signing bonus

@JacobReid They really said that??....😮😮
C'mon don't post cheese stuff man!
Edit: I see how this is valuable for league commissioners
Exactly lol
Or you got to edit and make it seven years for 1 million but that’s a big cheat but I could just turn salary. Cap off too
I had to kick some scrub last year for doing case study 1 with 25 players being signed on punter deals for 7 years a piece..
Takes the realism out of the experience. No thanks!
Right!😂
