i just thought i was loosing my mind, coulda sworn i saw you react to this before, still a great reaction and a greater movie
I'll rewatch. Love this reaction. One of the first I saw from you. Love you BissCUTE!
Never had reason to doubt your intelligence or anything, but it came through in this one from the beginning. Good job and video, man.
Watched it and I watched this again. Hope you had the views again.
By the way, great job predicting it was himself sending the messages! I never imagine that until he fell into the tesseract and realized it was shaped like books.
Once again an amazing reaction...simple, honest and smart as hell ! It's rare to be so fair, especially at your age ! Thanks for this.
That's why I love to see you reacting: you are true to yourself, no over reacting, just simple yet true feelings :)
@@docsavage8640 I don t know about him , but you 100% not
“Because my dad promised me” will always hit me hard.
This movie is a masterpiece.
I actually think it should be a little longer 😂.
Biss… you are the best as usual.
Nolan got a bit carried away with the editing - especially at the end.
“I don’t know why I cried.” Because it’s a movie about humanity at its core.
This movie made me cry too, It's one of my favorites movies ever.
Re-watching, re-commenting and re-impressed with how Biss figured out the film's plot a few minutes into the film/reaction 🤣🤣
This movie is perfect, my top 1 all time for sure
yes clearly re-watched lol
Funfact: When creating the optics of the black hole as well as the visuals in the spacecraft they did a TON of research using real scientific data to be as accurate as possible. (of course there are limits to it because of limited data and it´s a movie). But if you talk to Commander Chris Hadfield you get amazing takes on how good this movie is visually. Also ...Michael Caine...that dude is INSANE..he made me fall for poetry again, just because of his amazing read
Except… black holes don't exist.

The thing about science fiction, as a genre, is that it can contain pretty much any other genre within its structure. Its possibilities are essentially unlimited. Avoiding sci-fi, especially from a pre-conceived idea of what it 'might' be, is just about not understanding that it can go almost anywhere, story wise. Staying away from it is missing out on multiple universes full of opportunity. ♥
Great summary! Have you ever read the old short story book series called, "New Writings in SF..."? There are 30 books in all, published from 1964 until 1977. Dozens and dozens of stories of such varied scope & subject matter, and the books are dirt cheap on ebay, etc. I discovered them as a teen in the early 80s because my older brother owned a few, and I was hooked (now I have the whole series).
It blows my mind that Hollywood churns out the same old guck year after year when there is such a vast store of untold tales just waiting to capture our imaginations, whether it's adapting short stories into something more expansive, or putting to screen great epics such as Dan Simmons' "Hyperion" series, or the extraordinary works of Iain M. Banks (who I'm glad I once met; such a loss that he's gone). Maybe some day the right director and studio will take on Iain's Culture novels, or perhaps his standalone work, Feersum Endjin which IMO was a better exploration of VR than many of Gibson's works (I like his books too, but they can be very dense, though I shouldn't moan too much, at a book launch event Gibson signed my VR dissertation paper. :D)
Perhaps it's the word "science" in SF which puts some people off, and I suppose that's understandable given the way the media portrays science much of the time, but of course this says more about the nature of popular media and the brainwashed masses than it does about SF.
SF can evoke many things in the viewer, emotions such as those on display here being all too familiar, but also wonder, a sense of mystery, and indeed optimism even if so often the film industry tends to market the opposite. 2001 and 2010 were fundamentally optimistic movies, likewise the full version of The Abyss, but films don't have to be grand vfx spectacles to achieve the same result. One of my favourites is, "The Quiet Earth", which has a wonderful closing shot as the credits roll.
SF can also be thoughtful and contemplative, films such as "Phase IV" and "Silent Running", but the movie industry seems incapable of making such works atm. Interstellar at least proved that there is still a market for something better.
One of the most intelligent and genuine reactions
The older people talking about the dust were those who lived through the Dust Bowl years and the Great Depression of the 1930s in America.
They are actually clips from the Ken Burns documentary on the dust bowl
By most accounts, the Dust Bowl years of the 1930's were not as bad for crops as is traditionally told. The failures of government overreach into economic prerogative contributed to farming failures far more than the Dust Bowl problems.
@@jared1750 - More than 75% of the topsoil was blown away by the end of the 1930s. Land degradation varied widely. My guess is that you've never seen a snirt storm, where plowed fields get hit by a blizzard and there are layers of dirt in the snow.
@@EShelby2127 My guess is that you haven't studied a lot of history.
@@jared1750 - The clips are from the Ken Burns mini series, The Dust Bowl - 2012. Sorry you missed it. As for the causes of the depression, probably not the best fourm to discuss. The subject is DUST.
As a father of two daughters, the father-daughter storyline in this movie always hits me differently than other movies.
@@docsavage8640 The only dysfunctional communication that I have to deal with, is when I receive an obvious trolling message like yours.
One of or should i say the greatest and most pure reactions to a movie i have ever seen. Biss is the best at putting her emotions out for everyone to feel right along with her.
HOORAY! It's back!! 😁😁😁 Great film and a great reaction!
I found and subscribed of course to your channel due to this reaction, loved it. With that being said I am so happy to watch it again ☺️ ❤
thank you for your WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL reaction! you made this movie come ALIVE! 👍☺
21:35, NEW RECORD on getting it! Smart Cookie! Just like The Usual Suspects!
Great reaction Biss like always, my absolute favorite movie. The score is beautiful and the story is emotionally compelling, Incredible. Amazing. Spectacular. Stupendous. Breathtaking. Excellent. Perfect. These are all synonyms of this masterpiece of cinema. The sentence "because my dad promised me" always makes me cry heavily. Murph is the most important scientist in human history, she has changed the course of the future through scientific knowledge but she says that the very one thing she was certain in life was the love her father had for her, that made her certain of his return.
There are some fun facts about this movie. The real TARS isn’t precisely the complex AI machine that you saw in the movie; rather, TARS is a giant puppet. Interestingly, lollipop sticks inspired the robot’s design. Behind the 200lbs (90.72kg) robot was Bill Irwin, who voiced the character and controlled its movements. However, he left the more complicated moves for stunt man Mark Fichera.
Christopher Nolan wanted that this movie to remain as close to actual science as possible. As a result, he joined forces with the 2017 Nobel Prize for Physics winner, Dr. Kip Thorne, on the project. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing as Dr. Kip Thorne and Christopher Nolan had disputes, while Nolan wanted to exceed the speed of light, Dr. Thorne stood his ground about staying true to science. Nolan finally came around and agreed to Dr. Thorne’s solution. Keeping in line with Nolan’s desire to maintain scientific accuracy, Dr. Kip Thorne provided the theoretical equations for the wormhole and black hole simulation. Paul J. Franklin and his team at Double Negative developed new CGI software that could realistically represent scientific phenomena in the film.
Nolan wanted a brand new score for Interstellar, and he got that, he contacted Hans Zimmer and asked him to develop the score for the movie. However, he didn’t give Zimmer much to go off on. He simply presented Zimmer with a single-page text describing the movie’s main themes. So, without a script, title, or plot details, Zimmer created the score for Interstellar, in the end the score successfully embodied the heart of the movie. The shoots filmed in Dr.Manns planet was shot in Iceland, Svínafellsjökull Glacier, east of Skaftafell, an outlet glacier of Vatnajökull in Vatnajökull National Park.
Keep up the good work.
Sucks that you had to re-upload but I’m happy to rewatch. This was the first movie reaction of yours that I watched❤
Oh Biss every time I see you cry during a movie I just wanna give you a hug your the best Biss.
Whoo ! Such emotional reaction !
I'm a great fan of Christopher Nolan's movie too :)
You called it! Smart girl 😃
I don't know why I enjoy watching reaction videos so much but I do. You are 1 of about 10 that I follow and in my top 3 the reason for that is simple. Your emotional availability coupled with your ability to understand complex plots and analogies makes it an almost symbiotic experience for me and for that I thank you.
This makes me really happy to see back up - one of my favorite reactions ever to a very special movie to me.
Thanks for the reupload Biss! This is my favorite movie of all time (pun intended) Christopher Nolan is a fantastic director! This is My favorite film of his! No matter how many times I see this film I still get teary eyed during the movie! Some of my favorite parts are the music during the saving of the endurance lab, the gigantic wave scene and it music, and the black hole visually is awesome and it's music! Ok I Love the soundtrack in its entirety! Thanks for resharing Biss ❤️💛
Awesome reaction Biss!!! Interstellar is one of my favorite movies of all times.
Leaving a like because I’m pretty sure I watched your originally uploaded reaction.
Personally experiencing love is subjective, but the existence of love as an emotion that most human beings feel is not subjective, it's a proven fact. That was what she was saying when talking about love being something that transcends dimensions of time and space. Even after a loved one passes, we still feel love for them in the form of grief.
Ending tears me apart.
It was a great piece of speculative fiction, which invited thoughtfulness and questions. Not knowing until the end was the point and the fact that love and emotional connections can transcend time and space 😊😊nice emotional reaction Bisscute
Oh Bicsit I love watching your videos. Don't be sad girl, they will just have to live on another planet🤗
0:41. Corddddddddn... 🥰
Interstellar is one of those movies where, when you connect to it, it changes you.
Thoroughly enjoyed this reaction!!
I love this movie, and I love your reaction to it. I have to say that you are also very adept at figuring things out early in a movie, like suggesting that Cooper is the one messaging Murph through the bookcase.
Beyond our language differences, beyond our cultural differences. We're all the same humans, with the same reactions, the same emotions. There lays our Hope for Future Humanity! Beautiful reaction BissFlix!!!
That was a great reaction Biss. Really.
You needed a large drink of water after that to rehydrate. :D
Since you seem to like emotionally dramatic space adventures, if you haven't seen Gravity from 2013 it could make for a good reaction.
Sure, it isn't about missions to other stars, but stays around Earth. And the whole of humanity isn't at stake, but it is enough with only individual peril. The small cast actually increases the sense of isolation and solitude in space.
I just thought of it because of your emotional reaction, and Gravity was way more emotional for me than I expected.
What an amazing reactor you are Biss. It’s the honesty. The genuine article. Well done.
I am writing this to help out bisscute and this video and this channel with the algorithm 🥺
Such a beautifully genuine reaction! This is what I like to see, someone reacting the way normal people react to such a great and emotionally moving movie! You definitely gained a sub!!! I truly look forward to more of your genuine content. Thank you so much for sharing this part of yourself with us all! God bless you.
I just wanted to say that among all the reaction channels out there, with some being top quality more than others, everybody has their favorites, your channel my Lady Bisscute, you stand at the top of your own mountain as far as being set apart from everybody else, just saying congratulations, isn't enough.!
biss…this is by far the most beautiful reaction i’ve ever seen.
This musical score is beautiful 😊 especially the big wave scene ✌️
yeah this movie is truly overwhelmingggggggg seriously. Thank you for the genuine reaction, i remember seeing it multiple times in the theater just because it was so moving and again overwhelming in so many ways. =] such a beautiful film i am glad you enjoyed it so much.
Love your laid back, raw, style of reacting ! You catch on pretty quickly too.
*intelligent*
I've been there since the start of the channel and watched all your reactions. Never seen you that shaky and emotional after watching a movie.
It is a masterpiece
Thanks for giving me a good reason to watch you react to this twice!
😂 space movies are really her Kryptonite like she stated during Armageddon 😂
Thank you so much for this reaction - I am really glad you like this movie that much.
I am a science weirdo and was already as a child into astronomy and although I wasnt able to study physics (I tried a semester) I am so into this stuff. And its impossible for me to forget about all the stuff I learned and not see all the little and few larger flaws in this movie. But still its a masterpiece and it still lets my soul shiver.
The amount of details you instantly or after just little time were able to comprehend is astonishing. We know that you are smart... but sometimes... giiiiiiirrrrrrl ... having all these emotions and still be so analytical - I cannot do other than adore you in these moments.
And like Gandalf said: For not all tears are an evil.
This movie still makes me cry when I watch it.
Thank you sooooo much.
Oder in deutsch: Danke, Danke, Danke, Danke 🙂
Thank you so much, happy you loved the reaction
Probably my favorite of your reactions. Thank you for making adjustments due to copyright on original upload.😊😊❤❤
This movie broke me in the theaters. I was lucky to see it in IMAX and the score of the film was next level, with the big screen and big speakers!
Thanks :)
There are many paradoxes in this movie. One that many miss is in the beginning when he got coordinates for the facility, they were sent to himself from himself. Nothing happens if he doesn't relay those coordinates from the future..........
I sort of knew what was happening because they said Quantum physics. and that what happened in Prince of Darkness. Have you seen that one?! Its 80s
I loved watching this with you; thank you so much :)
A beautiful reaction, Mandalina. Interstellar is a remarkable masterpiece. Thank you.
Love your reaction Biss don't worry if you cried because me as a big man teared also for this film "Because my dad promised me" that line hits me like a ton of bricks this movie is a masterpiece with the incredible movie music score
BissCUTE, you give me hope for the future of humanity. Be proud of yourself. Grow, but never change.
This is my favorite movie of all time, and watching you react to seeing it for the first time was like watching for the first time myself! One of the things I loved about this movie was when you think about it, everything that happened in this movie had to happen the way that it did in order for the movie to end with that conclusion.
Great reaction Biss! Definitely a favorite of Nolan's films
Love ur reactions!!!!
I can't recall if I had seen your original reaction to this. But ironically, last night I randomly had an urge to share in the emotional journey of this movie and had watched a couple reactions to it. So it absolutely made my day today to see this come up in my recommended videos as I've enjoyed some of your other stuff and this made for a great end to my day. Thank you soo much for such a beautiful and sincere reaction to it!
My pleasure, glad you enjoyed it
Wow. The first time I see a reaction that almost exactly mirrors my first reaction to this film. In my opinion, this film is less about sci fi or time travel and more about family drama about Space & Time. And anyone who understands this emotional component can enjoy this film as wonderfully as you do. Great reaction
I'm Mexican, and I love to watch you react to Mexican singers like Jose Jose and Juan Gabriel. I subscribed to your channel for those reactions, but you won my heart when I saw those tears while you were watching my favorite movie!
Awww thank you so much for subscribing
29:10 your reaction as this point...says everything.
You are so genuine and so mature that you understand the feeling.❤
At this point, i felt goosebumps too.
I love it when you get so deeply involved into the movie like this. 😢❤
Glad you loved this
you give the same real reactions ten times more than me , so i once realized how much i loved this movie :)
Loved watching your reactions to this masterpiece of a film! Definitely top 3 for me as well. So fun to watch someone enjoy and appreciate this movie as much as I do. 👍🏻
Lots of love to you bliss!!! ❤
I had the pleasure of seeing this in theaters and was blown away. In September it will have a re-release in theaters, and i absolutely cant wait. Welcome to the Interstellar crew ❤
You are so smart, you figured out about the books so fast. great reaction to a great movie.
Great reaction. Congrats.
It's been a while since I saw the movie. I should watch it again :D
The way you enjoy the movie, trying to discern the theory of relativity, developing your own theory, expressing your emotions in a transparent and honest way, seeking objectivity above all with a touch of suspicion, make you a good prospect to be scientist Madalina; I enjoyed every moment of this reaction and I think it is the best I have ever seen.
This movie sucks you in & hits every one in the heart. It’s so emotional, clever, & fascinating. Really great reaction! 😊
This was such a cute and heartfelt reaction.
I don't think I have ever seen you cry so much in a reaction before. 😍
Its an amazing movie, loved your reaction and how much it moved you, it definitely did for me too!
The movie is a composite of Contact, 2001, Solaris, Frequency, Silent Running, Apollo 13, and Moon.
The bridge to find her is love. So Brand was right. Love makes us do the impossible.
You said it Biss. It's a masterpiece.
Love this reaction so much. I've NEVER seen Biss this affected by a film. Except the kinda close second "Good Will Hunting."
I recall watching this in the cinema when it was released. It was shockingly empty for such a great film. I'm glad you gave this a chance and had a good / sad reaction to it lol
One of the greatest movies ever made
one of the most beautiful reaction I ever saw. ❤
I still laughing about your sentence: "I hope your sperm is not in one of the eggs" :D
And your expressen when he entered the bookshelf. wow
I love to see how you react! It can be mean of me to love your strong reactions the most... But you're crying about it for the same reason I am. Because you have a big heart!❤
By the way, I can cry at this film to this day..😅
Instant Subscribe when you cry at all the same parts I did when I watched the first time. You feel the ways I feel and I like that.
I love your reactions. You're clever and also adorable 🥰
On Miller's planet in the background you can hear a tick every 1.4 seconds - each 'tick' is one day on earth.
Thank you for the video!!
Such a great reaction 🍪😻
This ruined you more than saving Private Ryan. Thank you for this. I’m kind of addicted to watching these reaction videos. There’s something amazing about hearing someone’s humidity. Come out in real time. The honesty. The realness. I wish we had more this every day. Thank you again.
Hey Biss - I'm very happy to re-watch you react to this movie. It's an incredible movie, and your reaction was/is so genuine and deep. Love that about you, my friend! Let's get this back up to 100k views again everyone! Thanks for all you give of yourself, Biss. You're one of my favorite online content creators!! ❤🤗
Hey Hey there miss Biss. This crusty old man teared up the first time I watched this. Love ❤your reaction sweetheart. Hope you have a good night, enjoy your day tomorrow. 🎉
Your reaction is all kinds of interstellar, you color with the heart.
It is a beautiful movie and you totally get it and that love is the key. Showing your emotions is just showing your connection with the movie and showing your humanity ❤. I really loved what you said ❤
Thank you so much, happy you liked the reaction
I have the say, yours is my favorite reaction of this masterpiece of a movie now. This is and has been my favorite film now since its release. Unquestionably, this is Christopher Nolan's Magnus Opus. Thank you for your beautiful reactions Biss!
Hey BissFlix, push your comfort zone, when you do that you grow and fears slips away 😃
I make comment to make dis reaction go big bada boooom!!! 👊🏻🌹 BTW the happy cry when Cooper is fixing TARS had me absolutely wrecked!!! 🥹🥲
AHA - I knew that I had seen this before. After watching Tenet with you, I looked for this one and was sad that it was gone. This movie is so popular, I expect your numbers will go back up soon. Especially of people think it’s a new reaction, haha
about going to the moon, at the time, russia and the u.s. were in a very competitive space race. Don't you think the russians would have let everybody know if it was faked. they were tracking the ship just as much as the u.s., probably hoping it failed.
Yes it would be very difficult to have a few ppl maintain a lie about the moon landing, imagine hundreds of ppl having to maintain that lie, no way !
Your Best Video so far ! ❤
I love this INTERSTELLAR so much.
Please,Please watch BLADE RUNNER (1982),another SciFi-Masterpiece.
You are very good with your reactions. You are funny and I enjoy your Chanel. Good luck.
