Emilia Perez didn't even do well on Netflix. During its first week or so, it didn't even crack the Top 5. It seems like one of those overrated festival choices that people have been placeholding. I really can't see it doing as well as people think? But the Oscars can be dumb. Everyone's predicting Zoe Saldana for Best Supporting Actress but I think she could even get snubbed. If she starts *WINNING* Critics groups this week I'll put her back at the top. However, I really don't think September 5 is going to do anything. It doesn't even come out until the day after (?) nominations. Seems like a She Said type movie.I think Academy will go HOGWILD for Conclave and The Brutalist.
@madrouter I did noticed that for Emilia Perez. It was never on the homepage. Oh, there are going to be plenty of snubs this year for sure and Zoe can be one of them. For September 5, I am choosing one sleeper hit or movie getting in, and this is the one. The one that people think are going to swoop in is Sing Sing, I think that is going to be a Past Lives situation. Thanks for the comment!

And when did I trash/shit on it? Calling it mid and not God tier. I still have it in plenty of categories. IF...IF you actually watched the video or my review, you would know my issue were the subplots completely dissappearing in the first movie and other random things.
