Just a quick question... Do you wait a little bit between the steps of your face care? Exemple, you seemed to apply the primer right after the face oil, but I don't know if it was just video editing or you really did... It would help me a lot to know because right now I feel if I did that it would slife right off haha but you and I have similar skins and tastes, so I'd trust you judgment 100%... Please and thank you!! :3
It takes me about 45 min to do a full face of makeup every morning. I get up 3 hours before having to be at work. I like to take my time getting ready too. Plus just figuring out what look you want to achieve can take a bit. Love your videos and your work! Keep It up +BangerBeauty!
I agree with you about taking time getting ready...I like to putter around a bit and take my time, especially when I'm getying ready for date night or some social thing. When im getting ready for work, however, I have to bust a move.
Tina Cahoon That is awesome that I am not alone lol. I feel like nowadays everyone is so rushed all of the time. It is nice to have a lil "me" time. And mine is getting ready in the am!
I have an 8 year old daughter that I homeschool, so can't take tooooo long for makeup. She loves to watch me and have her decaf coffee with mommy. She always gets a little highlighter on her cheeks, and a rosey lip balm. Mommy gets concealer, a peachy blush, a gold type highlight, and mascara. 😊 I love to watch your videos. You're so creative!
I love it when you can clearly tell the difference between a professional makeup artist and a plain beauty vlogger based on their thoughts on highlight & contouring
I totally agree with you on the full face contouring. I don't think a person need that much contouring. That's why I love watching you do your make up! you have colors, it looks good, looks natural, but not heavy make up and I like that.
I do the same thing as you do in the morning! I take usually 20 minutes every morning to put on my makeup and it's my zen moment, my favourite moment of the day. Love your videos, you are gorgeous
I LOVE the beauty blender so much! I don't use brushes for foundation or concealer anymore. And so that it doesn't soak up the makeup, I put the foundation on my face, distribute it and then blend it with the BB. I love tha natural look it gives me. You should really try it Linda! Love your tutorials!
The beauty blender helped a lot with my dry an flaky skin !! It was the only way I could wear foundation. When I have now idea what to go for sometimes an our, when in a hurry I give myself half an our to get ready. Love your videos and ideas.
I like to use a beauty blender for my concealer and sometimes my powder. but I like to use a stippling brush for my foundation. love you Linda you are amazing!!
A lot of beauty bloggers I've watched tend to recommend a sponge for dry skin and a brush for oily, but that's just a general thing I think. I swear by a sponge because I'm so dry. 😊 BTW, I love, love, LOVE that you make the face makeup look natural instead of all the horrible Instagram contouring that's around these days! I love creative and dramatic eyes and lips sometimes, but for someone like me that is mega-pale, this sort of style and techniques are perfect.
I think I prefer brushes and beauty blenders over hands for applying, and honestly that's mainly because of your videos. You always say hey don't apply with your fingers from a paint pot because it spreads bacteria. SO smart and I've had less acne because of it, not to mention obviously I clean my brushes and wash my hands in between steps. As for powders, I have to set my face every day - especially around my eye area, because my mascara when I get oily loves to rub on my upper lid... raccoon face isn't cute.. PS, cat hair is the WORST while you're working on your face, and I have two cats, they both love my brushes! With them, the whole thing including shower in the morning usually takes me an hour, but I have super long thick hair which takes forever to manage. Thanks Linda!
love your videos in English, for some reason you look more relatable, and I'm not american or british or from any english speaker country.. keep it up!
Hi, I just found your channel and I'm so glad because I've been looking for more Swedish TH-camrs who make videos in English! I am from L.A. but now I live in Sweden and I'm not sure about what makeup to get here and where it is. Thank you so much!
Hey Linda! As a professional makeup artist I have beauty blender but I rarely use it since it doesn't blend everything as they say. I use a round sponge from Kryolan to blend everything in and it şs way better to keep it clean afterwards.
I started with my fingers to apply a foundation. Then later i bought cheap sponge like for 1-2$ because i thought that foundation will be look better on my face but it didn't. Couple months later i bought quite really good brush but it still looks like 5/10 haha and like 20 days ago i bought the BeautyBlender. I was shocked because I didn't know that foundation can look so natural on my face. So you should seriously buy Beauty Blender. You won't be disappointed.
+Tina Cahoon I have used both, and I prefer the beauty blender. The rt one is also good, but the beauty blender is much softer and I feel like it gives a nicer finish. It feels better on the face, it's not as dense as the rt one, and the rt one feels a little bit more wet. I'd go for the beauty blender, but if you don't want to spend so much money on a sponge, the rt one is still really good and will do the job too.
I love the Beauty Blender. It helps smooth things out if you have any tiny lines from using a brush. I also like it to make a fuller coverage foundation look more skin like, or sheer it out. Some foundations I like using my hands best. The thinner texture products especially. Brushes are good too, but, again, it depends on my mood, on the foundation, and the look I'm going for!
Love this video! I am a huge fan of powder, I always wear powder. It's good for so many things! How long I spend on makeup definitely depends on the day but if I'm not in a hurry and I'm just having fun probably about an 1 1/2 hours.
Kram
I work at home so unfortunately ('cause I LOVE makeup) I don't put anything on my face but moisturising and under eye cream. But if I have to get out, no one can stop me to put makeup on! :D It usually takes almost a hour to finish everything up. Beauty Blender or brushes, it depends a lot on my mood, but I like the result with the sponge. I use to put powder under my eye (I have genetic dark circles so I can't skip concealer and it's fundamental to set it in), and on the T-zone. And I totally agree with you about contouring: the less the better. :p
When I start work or school later in the morning or afternoon I also love to take all the time in the world to do my make-up with my favorite music on! When I gotta start at 7 AM though.... I take all the time I need to get some sleep! 😂
I am really in common with u Linda ! I follow all these steps for my base every,... single day , I just use less products for skincare , following your base routine for a long time , I do all the steps you take !! I always learnt from u for my base by watching your videos! I have never used a beauty blender either , I prefer brushes , My holy grail foundation brush is that little ecotools foundation brush that u also use most of the times! I take about 2 hours :P to get ready . I do always prefer a natural contour with powder and iv never been a fan of cream contouring either , ! I really agree with u about natural contouring ;) ,
Hi Linda!! First of all, I love everything you do! I'm ur fan number one hahaha. I'll be very grateful if u share with me what kind of illumination, lights or whatever do u use to make your photographies, pleaseeeeeee. Thanks!! And never change! Ur the best
I am new to your channel and I am loving it!! I set my makeup with powder, always, because I have an oily T-zone. Also I love applying my makeup with a beauty sponge because, for my skin, it seems to look more like "skin" when I apply foundation and concealer that way. However, I think it depends on what foundation you use, as to which method works best, honestly.
I love the beauty blender. I switch between it and brushes depending on the type of foundation. Thank you for the wonderful video! I love your videos. Enjoyed seeing your routine. You are so talented! In your opinion, what is the best way to contour and highlight a round face shape? I have a really round face and have heard differing suggestions.
I love using beauty blenders, perfect for everyday. You are so adorable, love the way you talk about makeup 💜 & I would love to know your night time skin care routine..a video on that please ?
you should DEFINITELY try the beautyblender once, it is SO worth it! I use myself one as well and I cannot recommend enough. make sure also you cleanse it properly! also i really like this "bad habit" application technique of yours: for example there is a slight difference between your winter and summer shade, so you can easily decide whether in the end of spring is the foundation too light, or in the end of fall it's too dark already...so keep that going on :)
I use powder selectively. How much & where depends on the foundation I use. My forehead gets horribly oily, so that always gets powdered. Usually my nose, the are just around my nose that gets oily, and my chin. If I'm using powder contour or bronzer, I'll lightly powder those areas with a translucent or luminous powder to make sure the bronzer doesn't stick to the foundation and go on patchy. I usually use a cream or liquid highlight, and sometimes I'll set it with a powder highlight. Sometimes I like to keep it free of any powder to keep it glowier, but sure, you'll sacrifice longevity that way.
My gosh, you could use mud for eyebrow colour and contour and still somehow make it work!! And if you recommended it, I'd probably try it.. 😜 You have incredible talent! Love from Aus! Xx
I have two cats and I love them so much but I always feel like I'm taking a piece of them both with me wherever I go because of the amount of their fur that gets in everything haha!
I am a mother of two so I love doing my makeup. It's me time :) then I can totally take an hour for the makeup but if I don't have the time it's 30 minutes every morning. I put on the makeup when the kids are having breakfast. :)
Hey! I also love to do my makeup in the morning reaaaally slow, though this is not always possible... It usually takes me about 10-15 minutes if I do my eyes properly (hooded eyes are not easy!), and about 5 minutes for a simple no-makeup makeup. Oh, how much I like your videos!
I only like the beauty blender to sheer out makeup because you don't get as much coverage with it. the wedge sponges are worse at soaking up foundation but beauty blender still soaks up some so prepare to use more makeup with it.
So Thankful this is in English! You are so talented! If you could Please do more everyday makeup tutorials in English that would be awesome!! :) although I love watching your artistic tutorials, I don't wear them myself. I wear more neutral eye looks or simple smoky eyes with different lip colors. :)
Love the way you view and talk about make up. it's so relaxing but still motivating to watch your videos. can someone tell me the name of the song she used for the last minutes?
I love the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. It is one of my favorites. I use Lancome but BTW is my go to. :) Totally love your videos! I use skincare as my base as well because if the canvas is bad, the makeup will be too. :) I use both brush and blender. I'm picky about the blenders though. Not all are worth the hype. I do use a pressed powder in specific areas (nose, under eye, chin and center of forehead). Lightly only. I will look crepe like if I am not careful. I need that puff in my life! Gonna go see your website to fix that for me :)
I do use powder everyday because I'm oily, but only on my t zone and a little bit in my cheeks, I really like the dewy finish tho. Also, you should try the RCMA no color powder, it's amazing! You can buy it in beautylish, not expensive at all and you get 3oz. I'm in love
Hello Linda, Nice video :) thank you I'm surprised you don't put any mascara... is it on purpose? Sometimes I forgot to put some and I think it give a very Cara Delevingne look For my part, I put about 25 minutes to do my entire makeup (skin care + makeup) before going to work during week. And i really enjoy spending more time on doing it and experimenting new technics and associations on week end xx
I use a stippling brush for my foundation (MAC Pro Longwear) but use a Real Techniques Beauty Blender sprayed with a bit of MAC Fix + to apply Ben Nye Banana Powder under my eyes and anywhere I've applied concealer, as I find it sets it really well and prevents creasing under the eye. Then I use a fluffy brush to apply my regular face powder to my entire face (MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Natural). That's my every day routine as I have oily skin :)
you are stunning!! i haven't found anything on doing makeup for mature women. if you could find someone to makeover that is 50+ in age, i'm sure i am not the only one who would watch. wish you were around when i was 20!! thanks, your tutorials are great.
I really liked this video, you come across as more genuine than in others, where you sometimes seem a bit stiff.. I think it's the small comments, like the one about beauty blenders and the origins of contouring.. One thing I would love to see in your videos is what's happening on your hands, like how much foundation do you put on the back of your hand, how do you blend the concealer etc..
I always used a foundation brush. But i wanted a more moist and natural look. Real techniques sponge does s Great job for me!! This also has a flat side so you can easily use it for example conceal the under eyes! You should try it! See what it does for you :)
I use a beautyblender everyday, but if you get it I think you should also get the solid blender cleanser because otherwise cleaning the sponge might be difficult. And I don't often use powder because I have texture in my skin and I personally think that a powdered and a matte face can emphasize the texture of your skin and make your face look dull and dead.
Kram
Awesome video as always! Wish i could do all this on the morning haha, just got time to the skin care and brows. (p.s.: think im the only one who miss your swedish videos tho)
I use y fingers to apply my foundation :) I sometimes use a beautyblender but it's not very convenient for every day, since you have to clean it every time -
Hej Linda!
You are my favourite, I love that you don't try to be something different, you just emphasise your good bits! That's how I like makeup to be
Thank you soon much everyone!! I love reading all your comments
Just a quick question... Do you wait a little bit between the steps of your face care? Exemple, you seemed to apply the primer right after the face oil, but I don't know if it was just video editing or you really did... +BangerBeauty I really hope your channel gets big! I am so glad I found you! Keep up the good work!
Linda Hallberg U are so amazing & cute . I like u so much ❤

+Lacey Crowell Wow, but that makes sense. If I have time I tend to take that long too.
I agree with you about taking time getting ready...I like to putter around a bit and take my time, especially when I'm getying ready for date night or some social thing. When im getting ready for work, however, I have to bust a move.

That is awesome that I am not alone lol.

When I have now idea what to go for sometimes an our, when in a hurry I give myself half an our to get ready.
Love your videos and ideas.
I crave to have my morning makeup on but I'm always waking up late. Your Base tutorial was stunning and unique. I will try it out.
99% of the time I use my beauty - blender. It gives me the most natural application and that's what I aim for on an everyday basis.
love your vids!
BTW, I love, love, LOVE that you make the face makeup look natural instead of all the horrible Instagram contouring that's around these days! I love creative and dramatic eyes and lips sometimes, but for someone like me that is mega-pale, this sort of style and techniques are perfect.
Linda, I´m totally obsessed with your videos, always counting down the days till Friday :) you´re beautiful person, keep on going girl :)

You're awesome! Love how relatable and down to earth you are. Keep doin' you chickadee!
love your videos in English, for some reason you look more relatable, and I'm not american or british or from any english speaker country.. keep it up!
My favorite foundation application is with brush too. I have beautyblender, but my hands reach for a kabuki brush most often.
+Lily Glory I could never get the hang of using a sponge, brushes are always my go to.
I like brushes for foundations and beauty blenders for concealed
*concealers

Vore kul med first impression på beauty blender 😃
The foundation you use looks really nice and natural on your skin. It hid your blemishes immediately !!!

What are your thoughts about the Beauty Blender vs the Real Techniques sponge (which I have but for some reason have not used for foundation)?
+Tina Cahoon I didn't use Real Techniques sponge so I can't tell you but I'd like to use someday this one.
+Tina Cahoon I have used both, and I prefer the beauty blender. The rt one is also good, but the beauty blender is much softer and I feel like it gives a nicer finish. I've never used a beauty blender either I would love to see your first impression of one! I always use dense buffing brushes for foundation.
beautyblenders är underbara!!! 😍
I really love your videos, they are so relax and professional. Hope u keep doing them. blessings :)
I have two cats and I love them so much but I always feel like I'm taking a piece of them both with me wherever I go because of the amount of their fur that gets in everything haha!
I'm a slow morning person too! And completely relate to the cat hairs. They get everywhere!
Great simple tutorial. Thanks dear, but u have to try using beauty blender. It is magical. The flawless foundation base ever. Have a great day dear 😍😍
Linda, i love your videos! You are an amazing make-up artist!
what foundation brush was that? Its super cool looking:-)
Hej!
You are one of my new favorites. You've gained a new subscriber.
I only like the beauty blender to sheer out makeup because you don't get as much coverage with it. the wedge sponges are worse at soaking up foundation but beauty blender still soaks up some so prepare to use more makeup with it.
I love your routine! Simple!
So Thankful this is in English! You are so talented!
I'm in love
Hello Linda,
Nice video :) thank you
I'm surprised you don't put any mascara... is it on purpose? Sometimes I forgot to put some and I think it give a very Cara Delevingne look
For my part, I put about 25 minutes to do my entire makeup (skin care + makeup) before going to work during week. And i really enjoy spending more time on doing it and experimenting new technics and associations on week end
xx
I use a stippling brush for my foundation (MAC Pro Longwear) but use a Real Techniques Beauty Blender sprayed with a bit of MAC Fix + to apply Ben Nye Banana Powder under my eyes and anywhere I've applied concealer, as I find it sets it really well and prevents creasing under the eye. Then I use a fluffy brush to apply my regular face powder to my entire face (MAC Mineralise Skin Finish Natural). That's my every day routine as I have oily skin :)
I love your blouse! Where is it from?
you are stunning!! i haven't found anything on doing makeup for mature women. if you could find someone to makeover that is 50+ in age, i'm sure i am not the only one who would watch. wish you were around when i was 20!! thanks, your tutorials are great.
Only issue with the beauty blender is that it soaks up a lot of product but it blend's beautifully. However, I still like using brushes.
I really liked this video, you come across as more genuine than in others, where you sometimes seem a bit stiff.. I think it's the small comments, like the one about beauty blenders and the origins of contouring..
One thing I would love to see in your videos is what's happening on your hands, like how much foundation do you put on the back of your hand, how do you blend the concealer etc..
i always use powder! i have super oily skin so it helps keep the shine down. even if im not using foundation, i still powder
I love using beauty blenders! But my favorite foundation brush is "Beauty and the Base" by MOTD Cosmetics, it's a vegan brush and its sooooooo soft 😍
One question.. Did you edit this video? Like cut anything out?? Is that really how quick you do your makeup???
I always used a foundation brush. But i wanted a more moist and natural look. Real techniques sponge does s Great job for me!! This also has a flat side so you can easily use it for example conceal the under eyes! You should try it! See what it does for you :)
What do you use to apply your translucent powder? I ❤️❤️❤️ your videos!
I wonder why you don't have a million subscribers, you're so greeaaaat
You should do a video on how to pull your eyeshadow and blend it up according to your eye shape.
Hey Linda! I loved your channel!!! You look so pretty and real!!!!! You're perfect!!!!
You are gorgeous and have such a lovely personality!
I've been loving your talk-y videos lately :))))
I agree about powder adfing texture. I try to have a *very* light hand when applying powder around my eyes in particular.
Kram
I'm currently obsessed with your videos and you accent!
Love your channel, keep it up xo Love from New Zealand ♥️
:) I love it! Får aldrig till det med pensel/borste..
Your messy bun is pretty amazing lol
I like to take my time too, music, drink, about half an hour of pampering haha. Though sometimes I'm late and have to do it all in like, 10 minutes
I love using a beauty blender, you should give it a go but brushes are always my go to :)
Awesome video as always! Wish i could do all this on the morning haha, just got time to the skin care and brows.
(p.s.: think im the only one who miss your swedish videos tho)
10:16 made me smile!
I use y fingers to apply my foundation :) I sometimes use a beautyblender but it's not very convenient for every day, since you have to clean it every time -
Linda, what brush do you use for the highlighter? :) gorgeous as always!
The BB is like no other..❤️
