i think instagram is the most cost effective place to purchase. you can search for things for sale with hashtags like #btswts #wtsbts #btssale etc. buying and selling on instagram relies heavily on trusting people though. Mercari and ebay are other options in the US and they tend to be more expensive, but there is buyer protection.
omg yes those special cards are the only reason i bought 15 packs 😭 i finished trading for my missing special pcs for this set like 48 hours after posting the video which was so nice
a lot of people do this and i’m sure everyone has individual reasons, but for me, it’s just extra protection. i like to take my cards out of my binder and reorganize them frequently, so i’m worried about wear and tear to the edges from doing that too much. so sleeves will prevent that type of damage! i also like that it gives them extra thickness because some pcs can be quite flimsy
