Had to re-upload the original review due to some technical issues.
So I guess there two ways you could look at this figure. One, oh it’s another Naruto release. Or two, it’s another Naruto release! I happen to fall into the second category and whilst there really isn’t too much of a difference between this and the original regular release, there’s in my opinion a lot to like about Narutop 99 Naruto!
Narutop 99? What’s that you say? Well, it was a worldwide popularity poll to vote for the most popular Naruto characters from the original Manga. The most popular Naruto character would then be featured in a new one shot manga drawn by Kishimoto. The top 20 characters would also be featured in a special group shot that I think most of you have seen before but Tamashii have decided to base this Naruto release as well as an upcoming Sakura, Minato and Itachi on this drawing.
I believe the 2024 SDCC Kakashi is also based on this on this group shot.
So what are the differences you were talking about? Well let’s find out!
With shadow clones being a thing, you can never have too many Naruto action figures.
If the price is comparable to 3rd party parts, depending on the price the face plates alone seem like a good reason to get this figure.
In my opinion the new Naruto line is the best articulated sh figurats line yet. Not a single one of them have been duds in my opinion and they all move fluidly
Finally you're doing a proper Naruto review! hooray!, also here's a quick mod if pop off the waist there's a small hole inside of the jacket that allows the hinge to crunch but if you hollow it out slightly with hobby knife or file you get more crunch range!
good thing I didn't get two of the 3.0 Naruto and only got 1 since this top 99 ver. will offer a different set of faces and will go with my 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0!.

Can't wait til mine shows up. Amazon has it listed for August and now I'm impatient. Really hoping they announce Gaara this year. I'll take Guy and Rock Lee, Tsunade, hell I'll take them all!
I still prefer the original faceplate, the eye on the neutral face looks kinda weird.
Also was i the only one who got mislead into thinking that this figure would come with 2 figures or am i just an idiot who cant read lmao 😂 😂😂

I also love how they’ve been correcting the height with subsequent Narutos after the original. Ever since the battle damaged store exclusive they scaled him down a bit so he’s shorter than the Sasuke we got which is accurate.
they look the same height as original to me
@@kratostherealgod8564they’re not. At first I thought so too but actually look at them side by side and compare them with Sasuke you see the 2022 one is taller than Sasuke while the newer ones are shorter than him.
@@DZlegendlook at 8:00, they look almost same height and a little difference might be because newer one has a slightly wider stance so height is reduced a bit
@@kratostherealgod8564 I have the figure myself. Before and after this video I stood them side by side. The newer one is shorter ever so slightly. It’s very hard to notice through video and even in person at a glance it’s unnoticeable. It’s easier to tell when they’re stacked up against the 2022 Sasuke cause the og was noticeably taller while this one is the same height or slightly shorter than him.
@@kratostherealgod8564 I though the same as well, but having them inhand and disassembling them @DZLegend is right, the newer Top99 Naruto (and the battle damaged one) has a shorter lower torso which corrects the height and proportion.
Original 2022 release looks too stretched out.
Narutop99 Figure that I'm hoping for? Lee, Gai, and Neji (all on the bottom right hand side of the Narutop99 image). I just got into the line with the kid Naruto as a sample but i have plans for a display the older figures with Sage Mode Naturo at the center. now for the waiting game. Great review.
Highly recommended you try to find Kurama Link Mode Naruto before after market prices go too crazy. The best figure in the line imo.

I generally don't get duplicates or minor variants like this, but in this case I can use it as a shadow clone for display
I got mine today, and I love it except there’s a paint error on the forehead protector/headband on my copy. Is there a way I can properly colour-match it?
I have the original release but I pre-ordered this version for the face plates
Do you think that this is the definitive Shippuden Naruto?
That’s a tough one but I still think I’d give it to the regular release because of the rasengan effect
Is the new naruto narutop99 is a little bit shorter than the previous one? Cuz at 8:28 it looks like it is or is it just because his standing pose a bit wide from the previous one?
the blue eyes are a reference to the manga i think
