I remember listening to Pendulums originals way back when they came out, and those two remixes seem to hit the mark for me. Maybe because they are similar to the original, but they just sound better than the others.
I’ll admit, Pegboard Nerds have done a pretty good job with this remix, focusing more on the drum ‘n’ bass. Though there’s something about the original that I still love: probably the slight incorporation of rock elements. From what I’ve heard out of “The Reworks”, this is my favourite, but the originals still do it for me.

I'm a sucker for driving percussion and that droning 4 beat kick with that chunky 8th note synth bass giving the Synthwave feel I've been slowly listening to more of over the last couple years is scratching an itch very nicely
