Yeah I had to grab one of these too. Lot of good stuff in a small package, and that ratchet is sweeeeet!
Just added that one to my next Harbor Freight trip. Looks like a handy kit to have👍
Can't beat it!
I have one in my saddle bag on my bike. I have one in my range bag and I have one in my toolbox in my shop. I use this kit so much that I bought three of them.
I'm going to go get another set as well. It's just awesome!
Well, it looks like i'll be adding one of these to my collection!
Haha!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there is anything quite like this Icon set, anywhere near their price point.
The ratchet *with* flex head, the extension with T-handle capability, *and* the nice small case.
And if you break it, I'm pretty sure it's got the same lifetime warranty as Pittsburgh hand tools.
You are correct
I don't need anymore tools !, but I really like that!
No such thing. Haha!
Great review man, I have this & the bigger Gearwrench set with the kind of crappy case, I honestly go to this little Icon 9 out of 10 times plus I take it on trips & in my range bag, just really like this kit
It's an awesome kit! Looks like they are coming out with this in a set with 1/4 drove sockets. In a nice case. I'll be picking that up for sure
@@KillingerUSA that’s cool, I’ll definitely grab 1
I think VIM Tool is the OEM on this
Not sure?
am i the only one who thinks they should have included a magnetic screwdriver in this kit?
I picked this set up with the 25% memorial day coupon and total price was around $33. Now that I've been using it for a month I'd definitely have no problem paying full price for it if I had to replace it. It's crazy how often this is the solution to my problem
No need to replace. Lifetime warranty!
I’ve used this thing extensively. By the time you break the bits and or the ratchet, it’s paid for itself. 👍
They actually have a lifetime warranty on the bits. LOL.
Vim has one with a longer handle.same company makes them
I seen that
You got it!
I hope you like yours as much as I like mine. My thoughts on the box were similar to yours until I dropped it a bunch and stepped on it a time or two. They have to be using glass reinforced plastic.
Not the usual import "junk" for sure. Very well thought out tool. I think Facom or Vim is the OEM for it.
It's a very nice kit for sure and I definitely have seen the ratchet from VIM!
They are made by Hi-Five. Who also make the Facom and numerous others. The company was started by Bobby Hu after he left GearWrench. He was the designer of the GW ratcheting flex head wrenches.
@@therealmillerman Thanks! I'll check into them.
If that is the case he is a talented person. I have a standard gearwrench set (rebranded) that sees a lot of use.. but the real winners are the gearwrench "stubbies." Those are amazing and have saved my arse a LOT with hard to reach, no clearance bolts.
I love mine. I just was watching a video of Harbor Freight at Sema showing some of their new tools coming out. One of them was this icon set,but with sockets. I can't wait to pick that up.
I have just got the toptul one with sockets for 50 quid and the facom one we get here in England is like 130 quid I wish we had icon stuff
You have got to quit these reviews I have enough sockets sets, but dang that thing looks like I need another😅
You can never have enough. Haha!
Killinger another great tool review. I definitely need one of those in my shop. Keep it brother great reviews....👍🤙
Thanks! Will do!
May have to Pickup one of those! The Klein tools #65200 is a nice tool for tight places to!
Just added that to my want list! Thanks!
Another great tool review very thorough. Be blessed. My friend.
Thank you! Take care!
I happily paid full price and had it delivered never was able find it in the store
Definitely worth it!
Looks like a cool kit!
I like it!
I haven't found one yet
My store was out of stock for a while.
love the knife sheath in the background, do you have a video on it?
I believe years ago, I did make a video making it and the knife next to the sheath. Unfortunately that video is long gone. The quality was terrible.
@@KillingerUSA well if one day you just post a youtube short on it, that would be pretty cool. Enjoy the videos and take care!
@@mario7mag that's a good idea! Might just do that tonight!
