The key is when you walk upto the ledge, dont think about it, If you've been up there to long, go down and go back up to "reset" your self. Walk straight upto the edge in a fast manner so you've already commited to the jump

I live in VA, my dad and his friend hitchhiked back in the 60s to SC when they were 15 to buy fireworks...slept in a ditch on the side of the highway one night. Made it it back and made a mint selling them to to everyone in high school. Insane.

It was in a school gym, and there was some kind of robe that gets send down and up from the roof. While I was hanging on to the robe, some of the boys started raising it. Again, we were 9-10 years old, so I can't fault them for not thinking shit through. And unfortunately, the system failed, so the robe wouldn't go back down, and I was slipping. They quickly got a gym madras, and I fell and pissed my pants on the way down. Most embarrassing yet awesome thing I've done as a kid, even if it wasn't intentional.
