finishing a book is such a mix of emotions. like i get so happy, but at the same i am so sad because it’s over. it’s such a bitter sweet feeling
Yes, SJM is a mastermind of weaving the smallest details throughout the whole series. No detail is too small or insignificant.

The amount of excitement I get when Sara posts a mood reading vlog
As fun as specific reading vlogs are (TBR, xxx chooses what I read etc), I totally understand how it can put someone in a slump if your not feeling the book at that time. I am such a mood reader and forcing myself to read something puts me in a slump for months.

do youu think tog is too hard for a 14 year old to understand or good for that age?
@@ameliameikle4197 earlier books are definitely appropriate for early teens, but once you hit heir of fire it does start to get a bit more mature. Personally, I would say yes it’s good for a mature 14 year old.

Queen of Shadow is by far my favorite book in the series!!!!! Im pretty sure she actually changed the ending of Heir of Fire to continue the series. That's why she needed to write Assassins Blade, it was originally supposed to be a trilogy :)

i was so happy to see you give queen of shadows 5 stars. throne of glass has a super special place in my heart and QoS is my favorite in the whole series.
I wish I could binge books like you do. I don’t have the concentration to. I could have a day where I’m free to do whatever I want. Sit down to read and can only do like 20 minutes at a time before I end up checking something on my phone or watching a show. It’s not that I don’t love the book but I just end up swapping between the book and other hobbies so frequently 😂😭
I gave Curse for True Love a 4.5! I agree I wanted more Jacks and specifically Jacks and Evangeline interacting mid-story
I gave ACFTL 4 ⭐️ too
Like I LOVE Eva/Jacks so much and they will always be one of my fav couples but I felt like there were so many unanswered questions and plot lines left behind, so many characters introduced in the first two books vanished like Marisol, Luc and Tiberius.
Also there weren’t many Jacks/Eva scenes like I felt more satisfied after I read Waterstones and B&N bonus epilogues but still I really need a novella 😢
I felt like Stephanie used this book as a set up for future books and in doing so it cost her some of this book with all the unanswered questions and plot lines left unresolved.
And THE APPLES!!! We didn’t get a clear explanation and especially of the colors 😭
But in the end I would totally read more books in this world, I need a Lala and Castor book!! Hopefully we will get one!
In the first book, it says that dragon-roasted apples taste like true love! So I assumed that Jacks ate the apples to fill the void and once he had Evangeline he didn't need them anymore 🍎
@@avanithebookgirl Yeah I guess it was to hold back his urges and purpose which is to find his one true love but when he finally had Eva he didn’t need the apples anymore, but still we need to know what the colors meant 😭

If you love jacks then you should definitely continue caraval series. I finished it and I definitely had a soft spot for him!! I can’t wait to start this series ❤ love the videos ALWAYS!!

So happy you read ACFTL! I read the entire caraval series and then OUABH and literally finished TBONA the night before ACFTL released. Im obsessed with both series and absolutely LOVE jacks so I’m with you on the smiling and giggling anytime jacks so much as breathes 🥰 so sad the series is over but excited to see what she writes next! Also if you didn’t know, the Barnes, waterstones and owlcrate editions have alternate epilogues!!!

TOG will always be my favorite for that: you get so attached to the characters over the course of 8 books, and some things she wrote in the first one make sense in the last one, that's insane!! I wouldn't recommend the tandem read though, the two books are very different and Empire of Storms is my favvvvv, it's very action packed and I think the tandem read would take away the tension 😭
My mood just gets immediately better when sara posts 💖

My review of the A Curse for true Love was remarkably similar to yours. I also wanted more of Jacks less of the other character. I did feel like I wanted more, book 2 was definitely a 5 star( had me in tears). I rated this one a 3.75-4⭐️. Love your reading vlogs😊

Okay basically I said this to Haley as well, so im going to say it to you too, but since you have finished the "Once Upon a Broken Heart" triology you should read the "Six Crimson Cranes" by Elizabeth Lim which is a duology, in my opinion the vibes are very much the same and I personally love both of these series so much.
