Nice video. I built that kit a few years back. Not sure what release I had but the dent wasn’t totally terrible. You’re not kidding about splash. My first experiment with that paint was a nice learning experience. Works great once you figure it out though!
@@TerryWilsonModels The kit I have is the 2020, and dose all the same issues you pointed out. I will have to be in the mood to do a lot of body work when I build this one.
So much work getting bodies into shape if you plan on putting them on a show table, from the judges I've talked to, fit and finish and paint is 60 to 70% of your score Enjoy your weekend Terry
That's one of the kits I use for a lot of 440 donors. That one is also the one you saw of mine, I built Mike Finnegans Death Metal charger with it. It place 2nd in the circle track category up at Nebraska Challenge.
Thanks for the tips!👍
Hope they help.
I've got 2 of these! One, I'm going to build stock. The other is going to be the drag version.
@@Red-rl1xx it’s a good kit.
I think it shows how the molds go bad. Great video Terry, Ron
Thanks Ron.

@@ramblers69 I saw how much work you had to put into that 49 Mercury…inspired my video…
Really nice kit. I've seen this one around, of course, it's the newer one. So, it may not be as good as the older one.
I really like the kit.
