@cheodelpino581 press the automation button and make sure it's the color red . Press play and then do what it is you are wanting to hear such as Track Mute, insert effects.. ect ect . Once your done it is vital to press the automation button once more to turn it the color green. If you leave the automation button red then everything you continue to do will be added to the automation and that can be a pain to undo if you have a lot of automations you didn't mean to add. Hope this helps ✊🏾
@@BuckpLAYZnOGAMEzI understand stand that automation icon real and write what I’m trying to know there’s certain beats that may have a low filter pass on one part of the beat then a tape stop then maybe a delay then a quick repeat by using automation so my question is how exactly they doing that in the mpc
@cheodelpino581 I gotcha , being that you already understand how automation works all you have to do is activate and deactivate whatever plugin you want while automation WRITE is enabled. What I do is while the beat is playing and the automation is writing I have the plugin showing on the screen and I just activate or deactivate when I choose to do so. Honestly, I have not attempted to try automation with XYFX ( where you can find tape stop and low pass filter effects)I know there is a little extra trick to it , but I will figure it out very soon and cover it on a video. So be sure to stay tuned ✊🏾
How would you automate it on certain part?
