The only issue that i take with this is that he is saying that Jesus would address Bruce Jenner as Caitlyn. No He would not. I believe Jesus would call Bruce by the name that God gave him when he was in his mother’s womb! But overall I’m glad that there is a church in my city that will speak truth! God bless!

I appreciate and respect Sam for taking the position he did against sexual confusion and gender dysmorphia… that’s said, there are 2 potential issues in the logic shared in this sermon… One problem is that this whole “talk”, as FC puts it, is centered on Augustine’s idea of original sin, and that’s that we are born sinful (Sam said with a bend toward sin) and that’s just not true! If we were born sinful it implies that God made imperfect creations, and I just can’t believe that a newborn baby crying because they are hungry, wet, tired, etc is sinful behavior… because you’d also have to assume that baby had a level of consciousness that’s so advanced that they are consciously aware of the fact they are crying because they want what they want and they want it now… The second, and this one is more alarming to me, is that Satan didn’t tempt both Adam and Eve according to any biblical account. It was Eve that was tempted, thus becoming a transgressor, and then fed the fruit she had just eaten to Adam… that according to Genesis and Pauls own account in 2 Timothy and that is the basis for why Paul says that women are not to teach or to exercise authority over a man… so to imply that Adam and Eve were both tempted it’s be theologically and scripturally incorrect… I, however, do not know whether that was intentional on Sam’s part or him misspeaking so clarity right there would be helpful @EdYoung.
He's saying man has a sinfully nature...which is true. He didn't say babies are sinful by just being babies. It's the free will choices later in life that may be sinful.
