I'm a dad of a 9 years old and I just cut her hair with this tutorial. We both loved the result, and with the money we saved, we could probably enjoy dinner date together. Thank you very much for the video.
Wow! Thanks so much this tutorial looks so easy to do, I’m going to try and cut both my elder girls tomorrow & will take a picture and send it on here and hopefully be as amazing as yours! ❤
Hello, I used your tutorial on my daughter and it came out fantastic! I've been cutting her hair for years, but never with the success that I was able to achieve today. Thanks a million!
Hi. I have a question. My daughter doesn't have straight hair and I want to give her a trim, her hair is fine at the ends and tangles. Can I use this method on her or is this only for straight hair? Thank you in advance.
We have another recent video about how to cut curly hair. You could check that one out. Curly hair is actually a little more forgiving so it can be easier to cut in some ways
What if the childs hair is thick, how would you section it before cutting? My daughters hair is thick and would probably need to be sectioned 3-4 times or the scissors won’t go through
I know it’s been awhile, and I’m not super sure if this is technically correct, but I’ll share what works for me in case anyone else had the same question. I part behind the ears like she does and tie off the front pieces separately, then I part the back in half width-wise and cut the bottom half first and then the top. It takes a little longer, but the guide helps. I do the same thing to the each of the sides, where I divide in half width-wise and cut the bottom half then the top half using the guide. So you’ll end up with double the sections, or six sections instead of three. You’ll probably need to rewet the hair a few times. Also, make sure to watch the head tilts; since there are extra steps making it take a little longer your child might need the reminder.
good afternoon. Are you alright? sorry to bother you, in the middle of the virus, but I was wondering if I could make a video suggestion? I was wondering if you could make some videos with children's cuts? can you also finish with the dryer? because I love to hear the sound of the dryer. well, if it's a little absurd idea, I apologize for a thousand. have a great thursday afternoon and
This doesn’t work for thinker and fuller hair! Keep that in mind before you start. My daughter was not happy with me so we decided to get it fixed. I explained what I had done and I was told it was not successful because of how thick her hair is and it required more parting:). Now we know! 😆
This video really helped me. We can't afford to take our kids to the salon due to me being laid off and this really helped me get my 3 daughters hair done before school starts ❤ thank you so much.
Are you starting with a middle part? This is a great video! So easy to follow! I’ll be trying my hand at haircuts soon! I just can’t pay $20+ anymore for someone to trim my girls’ hair when I know I could do it at home!
This video was so easy to follow and very informative. Thanks for such clear and easy instructions! I’m a mom of two girls and our state hasn’t reopened yet and so this video is so useful for me to reference when I try and cut my girls hair.
This was extremely helpful, thank you so much! Now I’m off to attempt this on my own child, who actually looks almost exactly like this little girl. Nice coincidence.
I loved this! It will be my go to from now on. My daughter's hair is very straight and shows imperfections. The techniques in the video helped me make it really nice and clean!
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve used it on my youngest daughter a few months ago and now today I’ll be doing it again for her and my oldest daughter
I just finished cutting my daughter's hair after watching this video and it turned out so much better than I ever could have imagined...thanks so much for taking the time to post this! 🙏
Thank you for this informative video! I’m going to attempt this on my 4-year old daughter. It will be her first haircut so I hopefully I don’t traumatize her and myself 😅
Is it me or it didn’t look even. But anyways. It is so easy and when the hair is dry or in a pony tail. You can even tell. So I encourage everyone to do it a home and stop paying absurdly prices for something so simple.
I did this on my girl with thick hair and ruined her haircut (not a disaster but id does not look good and there are chunks of hair peaking from underneath). There is nothing wrong with this tutorial (worked on my girl with thin hair) but don't do it on thick hair if you are not sure what you are doing.
Thank you so so much!! Every time we pay to have it done they cut off more than we ask. My granddaughter has long beautiful naturally curly hair! Now we can control how much is cut off AND save money!! I’m excited to try this with her mom’s approval of course lol. She’s about to go to pre K and needs a trim!❤
My little one has hair that doesn't part naturally, it grows forward from the crown and then gets swept to one side, which creates a v deep side parting. Would I need to put a central parting in before cutting?
Here's the answer from cassidee: It shouldn't matter where you part it as last as you comb all the hair to both sides to check it and make sure it's even. So if she parts in on the left that's fine to cut it that way first. And then switch the part to the right and make sure it's even on both sides!

Thanks so much for commenting! It made my day! So glad the video was helpful and here's to saving lots of money cutting your 9 year old's hair 😘

I always cut my daughters hair by following your tips
Ah! Thanks for taking the time to let us know! That makes our day!
I would love to know how to cut curly hair
Sharp scissors are key!!!
*What if rhe hair in the front is shorter then the back!?*
Beautuful blonde hair
Lovly nice COOL 👍👏
Father of 11 year old says THANKS!!!
Just me or did the subtitles ciber where she was cutting ? 🤷🏻♀️ I still grasped the idea tho thanks
Will this work for shoulder length hair?
I'll ask her and get back to you 😊
This is what she said: Ya pretty much! I will usually do it a little bit longer in the front just to give it more of an a-line/bob look
mum: STOP MOVING
me: UR YANKING MY HEAD I CANT CONTROL IT
and this video is proof

Leticia Fagundes do you have a dryer fetish 😂
Leticia Fagundes sis why are you so apologetic it’s not a big deal.

I always add layers to my daughters thick hair
That many steps is unnecessary but a great tutorial nonetheless, thank you!

I gave my 3 year old her first haircut using this tutorial. Thanks so much, we both love it!
Wow! Easy peasy. Just used this video and tutorial to cut about 4” off our daughter’s hair. Looks great. Thanks
Thank you for making a video of a trim and not chopping everything off!
Thank you so much! I'm going to try it out. Our small town doesn't have many hair dressers. We did take her to one and I knew I could do way better.
Thanks for the comment! We'd love to see the final haircut you do!
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve used it on my youngest daughter a few months ago and now today I’ll be doing it again for her and my oldest daughter
10:05 This was my favorite part, you can clearly see she loves and trust you. :)

I'm curious how did it go? 4 years is a long time!
@@abrumusa1415 it ended up shorter than I anticipated! I wasn’t paying attention to her head tilts and the final snip ended up being cut too short 😅
So then I had to even it out with that shortest length. It went from her tailbone to below her shoulders now
So thankful to have found your video! I'm just about to give my daughter a trim. Thanks!!
Thank you! So much love!!! Really enjoyed watching this video.
Oh good thank you for letting us know and happy haircutting!
Thank you! Didnt want to spend another $24 for my girl so deciding to trim myself tomorrow, tq!
Thank you have to even out my daughters hair and this made it so user friendly to understand

So grateful for this video! Thank you! 😊
Going to use this tomorrow with my daughter! Thank you! So helpful

I didn't have my kiddo look down. Is that why the bottom layer of hair is longer than the top?!
What happens when your kids hair is super thick...do the same steps apply?
Thank you for this vid.
Thank you. Taking notes and going to give it a shot :)

I will ask cassidee who was the stylist in this video but I would guess yes because my hair does that and that's how my stylist cuts my hair 😉

@@PositivelyMommy thank you! I'm still working on persuading him to have it trimmed, but as soon as he lets me this will be very helpful! :D
Would this same process work if you want to cut more?
Are you cutting below the shoulders?
@@PositivelyMommy yes but not alot
