There’s so many lovely things on this videos but i have to take a moment to say about Derrick having made the little play course in the lounge with the cushions etc , it’s so sweet , you just know that. He’s going to be one of the best dads ever for making forts and stuff , jack will be enjoying it but Derrick will be making uniforms and paper swords and stuff 🤣🤣 infact I can imagine it will be Derrick that cries when sarah says it needs to be cleaned away 🤣🤣

Yes! It's important to continue to learn and grow separate from each other then come back together and see how it can go back in to your relationship. My boyfriend of 11 years works on the road 3 weeks out of the month and is home for a week. When he gets home it is so exciting and wonderful and the whole week we talk about life in last 3 weeks and what we experienced and it works for us.

It is completely ok to take a break from your significant other. I have been together with mine for a little bit over 6 years now. I can say it is needed. It reminds you why you both need each other and makes the bonds even stronger every time you see each other again. At the same time, you don't want them to go, but you know deep in your heart it is naturally needed. Love all of your upbeat spirits.

So sweet and adorable. Don't forget that his speech is in major learning mode. So, encourage to say big words, help to say words that he isn't pronouncing correctly ( of course he will not say correctly now, but your encouragement goes a long ways) and reading to him putting your finger on the words as you say them. Sounds big, but not really, it's a whole lot of fun, and while he learning as he goes into the next stage of his growth, you guys bond and grow together. I'm not saying you're doing anything wrong or anything like that. You guys are wonderful, great parents! My grands are in another state, and I miss the baby stage. Mine are way past that now. Love you guys, and keep up the good job.
I agree couples do need to take time for themselves. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and together for 18, we learned a few years after being married that it is perfectly fine to have some time for yourself go camping, on girls trip, boys trip, ect... don't feel bad or overwhelemed about leaving your spouse or children you know for a fact that you will come back and it is healthy for you and your family. It will also brings you closer together, so do take some time apart, I'm not saying split up I'm just saying take time for you. It is comforting and special when you get home and everyone says how much they missed you and love you. Never feel guilty about taking time for yourself.❤🤗

That cubicle area in your living room is an excellent place for toys against the back and then rig a curtain across the front to make it a stage. You might put a window in that curtain that can come in and out with velcro or magnets...high enough to hide people putting on a puppet show.

For my grandson, he has to watch tractors. We just turn on farming videos or one called Hudson’s Playground. Kids are so funny. 😂

That cubicle area in your living room is an excellent place for toys against the back and then rig a curtain across the front to make it a stage. You might put a window in that curtain that can come in and out with velcro or magnets...high enough to hide people putting on a puppet show.
