I rode that country 20 years ago and loved every minute of it. One ride took me into Red River and on another ride, I went west through Zions Nat'l park into St. George, and south into the desert eventually ending up in El Paso.
I worked on horseback in wilderness or backcountry areas all my life. My most favorite thing I loved about it was the sound of rolling thunder high up in the rocky crags. Sometimes during a storm, I would picket the horses & mules and find a dry spot under a tree to roll a cigarette and wait out the storm while I enjoyed the sound of the thunder. The thunder in your video at 8:50 forced me to say something... ;-)
Just started following you guys . My wife and i have been doing exactly what you guys do . We just dont video . While watching a few of your videos 3:48 we recognized a few spots that made us laugh because of very memorable moments .

Funny last year the year we took off from travel was the first time in 10 years I did not get poison ivy. I've done a couple conversion on Police Harleys for ex officers. Nice to see and for some reason they were all white.

Totally agree! That rolling thunder causes you to just stop whatever you're doing and sit back and take it in.

5:48 A buddy and I rode side-by-side for 25 years.. cancer took him.
I have ridin side by side but not 3 wide or all day. Usually in toy runs charity rides only.
