Dam all this is happing in my front yard! I just got a new boat and getting ready to fill it with tackle and join you! Thanks for the tackle suggestions.
As we all know that Tuna numbers are really going down!!! But I have started to watch your videos in the past few days and I have seen you catch Calico Bass, Yellow Tail, Bonito, and Mahi Mahi. None of which you decided to keep for food. But you kept the tuna. WOW!! If I was able to fish out there I would have kept anything to feed my family.
if you have a hard time feeding your family then go apply for government aid. don't be one of those guys who pull the "I have a family to feed" card to justify keeping illegal size/practically inedible fish. more people need to practice catch a release like this guy
thanks for the video i love this series. are you going to continue to post on a regular basis? and are you going paddy hopping for these tuna or are you just looking for changes in the water temperature color etc thank you if you reply im trying to get into the whole offshore thing
Great vid. Went out today on an overnight, but got skunked. Hooked 3 and all came off. That's tuna fishing. What kind of jigs are you using and how are you fishing it?
The cost of California is loaded with tuna. last boat trip i went on,i caught 6 yft and 2 skip jack(3-4 day). biggest one i caught was 30 pound. This year is the year to spend all your money on fishing because it would never get this good in many years to come. usually the average size is 15 pound. and eariler in in the summer there was nothing but yellow tail .
Lol very true. I work on a boat outta Oxnard and we have been catching 20-35 pound yellows for the past couple of weeks and it's never that great on yellows up here. So many guys r way under gunned up here. We started checking guys hear before getting on and if they didn't have a good 40lb set up we made make them go rent from landing(ugly stik tiger 8' h 30-60 with avet mxl 65lb braid 40lb topshot) otherwise they would lose fish all day. We had a private charter of guys using crap gear and getting owned by yellows. They hooked like 50 or more and only got 20 on the deck
I hate when anglers act like every catch is their first fish. Just STFU and fish. We had a guy on out boat this past weekend that fished like this. Every hook set he would act like he had a record breaking tuna and start yelling and spazz out. Then pull up a 2lb bass..
***** Oh the irony in these comments, lmoa. I come into the comment sections to leave, you know. A comment about the video. And some fuck tards always come in this just as degrading and "salty" of comments to then tell me to stop degrading or being salty. 4lb catfish? No my biggest Cat was about 2lbs, but I dont river fish stupid fuck. But I did rope a 34lb yellow, and several 20 to 80 leopards. Good day sir! lol
this channel should have a lot more views.. sick production and fishing

The jig you landed the fish midway through the video is the new secret. Don't tell anyone so I can find some on shelves!
