  • In 2021 Aqua Lung's Dimension Back Inflate BCD is a high quality unit with numerous features not seen on other BCDs in the same price point. Link: www.divers-sup...
The Dimension incorporates Aqua Lung's integrated Wrapture™ Harness System, providing amazing comfort and stability. The Dimension is made from durable, fade-resistant ResisteK™ material and features the patented SureLock™ II mechanical integrated weight system.
Wrapture™ Harness System - Using patented swivel shoulder buckles and a proprietary, ultra-thin back plate, the Wrapture prevents the BC from "riding-up" on the surface. Out of the water, the Wrapture keeps the cylinder close to your center of gravity and transfers the weight to your hips allowing you to effortlessly stand up straight
SureLock™ II Mechanical Weight Release System (patented) - allows you to easily insert the weight pouch and an audible "click" lets you know the weights are secure in the BC. Once engaged, the weights can be released with a firm pull the handle
HP hose routings through the back keep your entire kit low profile thus minimizing drag
The low profile flat valves reduce drag when moving through the water
A bladder retraction system is used to pull in the sides of the bladder during deflation. This keeps unit streamlined and reduces drag
Adjustable chest strap for personal comfort
A clever octo-pocket on the right lobe secures the octopus while keeping it accessible and visible throughout the dive
Two large, easy-to-access utility pockets are found on either side of the Dimension
Easy-to-access knife attachment points on the left lobe accommodate many of the Aqua Lung knives
Features 4 stainless steel D-rings and 4 plastic D-rings (1 is located inside the left pocket) for all of your accessories
Right shoulder pull dump provides an additional dumping option
Rolled neoprene neck collar for comfort
Non-ditchable weight pockets on the back of the BC help the diver achieve proper positioning in the water
All sizes are capable of holding up to 30 lbs / 13.5 kg of lead weight

Would u go for dimension or Rogue?

Hey PB6365, Remember everybody's opinion can be different, BUT of these two choices I'd go Dimension over the Rogue. Why ?
It's just a solid and better put together BC that will likely last longer based on use.
      Regards Bob C

I just picked up a dimension with the i3 system that I love in my Axiom. I can't wait to test it out in Playa Del Carmen next month with Bull sharks. I've seen your video which you like the Axiom, would you consider the dimension as a travel bcd over the axiom?

If I was only fun diving then the Dimension would likely be Top on my list, but since I teach IDC/IE & CD's I spend a lot of time on the surface talking, so the Axiom is best for me...

What jacket would you recommend between the aqualung dimension VS cressi commander evo

While these two are both Back Inflate BC's and are similar in cost, there are some pronounced differences in their overall design and construction.
Maybe a good subject for a video... Thanks for the question Oscar.. regards Bob C

This is my first time chatting on TH-cam. I'm a lady looking for a hybrid bcd. So far, I'm leaning toward Aqua Lung Pearl. But I'm a Cressi fan, and I'm looking for a review of the Electra? I live in Colorado, so it's really hard to visit a dive shop! Love your videos, thank you!!!

Hi Bobbi, Thanks for the note. I'm fairly familiar with the Pearl, the Cressi Elettra not so much other than looking it up on line. The Cressi rep will be here tomorrow and I'm hoping he'll have one with him... I'll let you know. Regards Bob C

the smaller size of the dimension according to the size chart is SM (height 5'2"-5'7"/weight 120-155/waist/30-42/shoulder37-45) And I am ((height 5'/weight 120/waist/30/shoulder 36).
    Will the size SM fit?
