I just wanted to give a few tips for SE users who may be having any troubles installing this: 1. For the SE, these lights (wherever you get them) are plug and play. You'll plug in the connector for the parking light, high/low beams, and the connector that connects both lights to the fuse box for working DRL. It's dead simple, no instructions needed. You'll have more trouble getting the bumper pulled down than actually hooking up these lights lol 2. When wiring the DRLs, USE A FUSE TAP!! as shown in the video... they are inexpensive and prevent live wire from coming loose and potentially touching other live components in the fuse box during vehicle operation. 3. You want to tap into the 10A fuse DIRECTLY ABOVE the one shown in the video (it should be labeled as EFI No. 1 on your fuse box). Tapping into the fuse they show in the video will cause your car to not shut off until you turn of your headlights... even if you turn and remove the key. 4. You'll place the 10A fuse that you remove from the fuse box into the bottom slot of the fuse tap (the slot nearest to the connectors).You'll use another 10A (MAKE SURE IT"S A 10 AMP FUSE ONLY!!!) in the top slop of the tap. 5. When you put the connector in make sure the wire is going in one direction (away from the connector) and not turned around as shown in the video. Incorrect placement of the fuse tap may cause an issue with the Collision System and your check engine light may come on. Nothing to worry about though, just reposition your tap in the opposite direction that they show in the video. 6. Make sure you go into your vehicle settings / light customization and turn OFF daytime running lights. Leaving this on will cause your headlights to stay on as DRLs in addition to the DRL light strip within the headlight housing.
For some reason when connecting my headlights everything went ok but now for some reason my tail lights won’t come on when I turn on my car, they only turn on when I break any advice for this
@@Chris-lk6tp sounds like the fuse for your taillights blew. Check the fuse box under the steering wheel and look for the 10a fuse labeled “Tail” and see if it’s blown. I had the same issue after installing aftermarket taillights from HiRev back in 2019. After replacing the fuse I’ve had no issues 4 years later.
I’m having an issue with a trouble light coming on saying check headlights visit dealer. The headlights work as they should and so do drl don’t know why it’s doing that ? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
Decent job, For me your instructions to flip the wires matching black to black & red to white wire is a great help. Also showing the relevance of connecting the heavy wire to fuse box to achieve animation also are equally as important. Appreciate the help. Thanks to you I feel confident enough to diy.😅
For anyone watching this, I just did this a few days ago onto a SE Camry. I got some tips The actual replacement of the headlights doesn’t take long, the bumper is the one that’s really annoying to get off. That said, it’s also not like a 30 minute job, and I would recommend to do this with 1 other person Before you take off the oem headlight, I would suggest to face your car at a straight wall like a garage and use some tape to have a correct height for the custom headlights. Once you remove everything, connect all the plug and play wires, the headlights should work properly but you will get a warning for a headlight malfunction on your dashboard. To fix that, there’s going to be another wire that you will need to connect to the fuse box. It’s not to difficult but be careful. Once you open your fuse box, on the lid it will have the fuses labeled, you will connect a mini low profile fuse tap to the fuse labeled “EF NO.1” at least it worked for me. I would watch a quick video of how to do it properly and safely if you don’t know how. Make sure your wires are connect securely and put some electrical tape around it, make sure it’s all in one direction. After that’s connect it, disconnect your battery (should be in the trunk) for a couple of minutes and it should clear that headlight code. It could’ve already cleared it without disconnecting it too. If that doesn’t fix the headlight code, contact your seller or make sure all the wires are plugged in tightly. Clean up your engine bay and make sure the wires won’t be touching any hot surfaces
I followed your instructions. And the instructions of the top pinned comment. Currently everything is perfect but my drl came on momentarily then back off. Yes I have drl off in the car settings (I had it on at first and they stayed on while it was set to on. But after turning that setting off, they stay off. Mostly) In the past I had a 2018 Camry se and I tapped the fog lights to the fuse very similarly and they occasionally turned on and off. Is this going to happen with my new headlights on my 2023 Trd?
The ones i ordered came with a harness with a fuse holder that holds one fuse only and an open wire...how do i use it? Do i connect a double fuse connector to it?

Is there a reason why both sides show an uneven staircase shape? I've adjusted the height of the light beam already but both are still showing the same uneven shape.
Thats just a symptom of having 3 Bulbs instead of 1, other companys use crazy amounts of mirrors and tricks to make it seem seamless, but you can imagine thats why the prices of those headlights are over 3000$+
also because these are made in china, OEM lights from japan fade along the edges of the beam. i purchased a chinese XSE light and the beam looked very similar to the triple's and when installed opposite a OEM light the beam clearly has a different shape. also the DRL on the chinese light wasn't nearly as bright as the OEM DRL.
I'm late with this headlights. I just got them I'll install this weekend. I have the led fog lights connected to a fuse already. I see in this video the headlights can be connect to a different fuse. Does someone know if is safe to let my led fog lights connected to the fuse? & connect this headlights to the fuse showing in the video? & HELP where to connect the fog led signal cable. So for my Camry SE 2019 I followed all the steps and everything works fine but my car won’t turn off unless I turn off my lights. Does that have to do with the connection of the diffuser?
Anyone have issues adjusting the height of the lights? I try to adjust it to 25" or so but it doesn't even get that high. The "adjuster" knob falls out of the headlight and the height for the lights drop all the way down again.
For the xse. If you plug the drls in the first way, you notice how the check marks didn't turn on. But if you put it in drive it will turn on. If you put it in Drive and then put it back into Park the lights will still stay on. It just doesn't turn on when you initially start your car

I have 2019 se my regular headlights would do the same when it’s not on auto. I would start it up and lights are off but then I put it in reverse or drive they turn on those are the daytime running lights since it’s on auto the sensor knows when to turn on the taillights

install the headlights and everything works but now i have headlight system malfunction pop up. is there a way to fix this or do i need to take it to the dealer.
So i just want to make sure, it is possible to install these lights without the "Startup Animation" correct? The animation is nice though personally the blue is not for me. So if i want to install these lights and make sure there is no startup animation, what exactly do i leave disconnected, is it safe, and will the lights still function perfectly as they should?
@@1951productions one TH-camr said his startup animation got cancelled because he had to splice some wires. It turns out how I wanted but I don’t know how he did it.
@@reminisce.8343 you could probably splice the wires then solder them back together one by one and see which wires enable what. But that would be slightly annoying.
With spending $1300 for headlights one should not have to reverse pins on a connector. That tells me rather you select SE/LE/TRD or the XSE/XLE variant it's the same light just get different wiring. Why hasnt the aftermarket harness that is included in the XSE/XLE variant been changed to work properly? It seems like a simple fix to the harness vs each customer needing to modify a plug on the actual light.
I just ordered these lights on eBay for $500 bucks cheaper (right now they are going for $1549!!! on HRS) with a 3 year warranty. They are definitely a rip-off.

It looks uneven because of the triple beam. That's how these lights are designed. On original we have have only one beam and this one has 3.

Yes it does but the DRL won't be on all the time like it is when it's tapped to fuse.

There are no bulbs. You have to replace the whole piece.

Having issues at it blew the fuse for the taillights, put another one in and it blew again. Do I need to put a higher wattage?

No they tapped the wrong fuse in this video. Use the 10 amp fuse directly above the one they suggest in this video and you’ll be good to go.

Connecting the extra wire to the fuse box seems to be an option, it just a control to start the animation turning blue to white
So you’re saying there’s an option to turn off the start up animation? If so, which extra wire are you talking about?

HRS if you are reading this comment PLEASE make these headlights with a dual halo option just in case people don't like the triple beams.
