Just had this put on today on my 2018 Mustang GT convertible, birthday gift from the wife. I had it done at a custom muffler shop and had to do some cutting due to the bracing underneath for the convertible. Hands-down the best decision, this exhaust sounds absolutely amazing, has the deep rumble of a classic big block, and the exact sound I wanted. Recommend this 100%, in my opinion the best sounding exhaust for the coyote!
@@demetriawright1528 I kept the stock resonators, it’s still very loud with the resonators on. It still maintains a deep tone without raspiness at higher RPMs.
Sure would cool to see a DB meter reading for the factory exhaust and the exhaust mods. I know that temperature, humidity, and distance all affect the outcome, but it could help remedy some of the "How loud is it tho?" questions. It would, incidentally, help me make my decision on which cat back system I'd buy.
This is exactly what I’m looking for! I don’t want to be too loud. But I want to have a deep throat punch when I take off and this is exactly what that is.
I installed the full outlaw cat-back on my 2018 GT, It's LOUD ... Gotta take it easy in the mornings so not to pissoff my neighbors ... Also, these things aren't called DroneMaasters for nothing,, they have big drone that gets tedious when you're cruising 80mph on the interstate. I have read some reviews here and there where people said it DID drone. However, it's unclear weather they just had axle back or the whole kit. Also, most were from earlier years. I installed a set of MBRP LT's a couple weeks ago and mated the Outlaw catback to them, That combo was unlivable on the highway, 2500rpm in 10th , my ears would ring, nearly start bleeding and teeth would start rattling... I had a pair of Vibrant 1792 resonators welded in as a helmholtz resonator like MBRP does on their race axlebacks and that killed most of the drone, 2500 is actually drone free now.
