If true, I'm disappointed with Tom. Years of abuse by Amelia only interrupted by them going to different schools. Amelia's anonymous warnings are negated by her continued abuse, encouraging others to bully. Her latent regret is suspicious given the muscle memory of her abuse at the wedding. Amelia had to be aware of the wedding invitations, and yet her initial reaction was to abuse Rick yet again rather than her claimed regret.
Perhaps poster of video here was attempting to show how Karma can work out in this 'story', though the $700 million aspect was the clickbait, of course. Actually just in my life, I could spin a true story far more financially outrageous than this one (& yes, my favorite piece that my dad always played for me on the🎹was Schumann's Traumerri🎵) But my daughter being one of😎 granddaughters (& quite a few utterly outrageous tales, too⚡) still hasn't received a dime from her also famous mother's million plus💰estate since her translation over 6 years ago, plus my own back ground of growing up with future billionaires (including current owner of Minnesota Twins⚾), thus suggesting past lives play a role in working out our daily 'problems'🙏 Huuuu 💤
The thing Rick realized that maybe you didn't; was that Amelia's picking on him after he was done playing at school; was intended to get him to go home before the bullies caught up with him. It wasn't a great way to do it; but she was a child; and she did the only thing she could think of to help him. I've been bullied at school; pushed around, spat upon; beaten. I've also been verbally abused. Honestly I can't say which hurts emotionally the most; but as they say "sticks and stones may break my bones; but names will never hurt me." It isn't always true; but it does tend to show what most consider the worse of the two. Despite everything stacked against him, Rick managed to live a good, happy, life.
Thank you for this beautiful story I was wondering if Tom will meet up with that girl from the bar where they played together. I think that would have been a happy ending. Again thank you very very much ❤❤
Wonderful. I love music and attempted to learn to play piano and flute. Unfortunately I think I have 10 thumbs on my hands and no manual dexterity. I loved ballet and danced for 5 years. Not a a story that’s put together well. How could the men be best friends and close if they hadn’t seen each other in 15 years. Other details that didn’t make sense.
@@blindbrad4719 Yeah it's read by AI, though I'd bet it's written as part of an English as a second language writing exercise. Piano, violin, overbearing parents focused either on education or pedigree, the head bowing that happened several times and the fact that the writer thinks a You-tuber and composer would have $700000000 in his bank account leads me to think it's written by someone from Asia or adapted from an Asian story. 700000000 Chinese Yuan or Japanese Yen would be a vastly different amount from dollars. No one with that much money would keep it as cash in a bank either. Also towards the end it was said that he was going to build a music studio for $700000000, but it would have to be solid gold to cost that much.
I doubt the logic of this story. When Amelia met him, she was throwing insults asking him to cut ties with her husband. Suddenly later she said she wanted to apologise to him after he left high school because she regrets causing a nuisance to his piano playing daily. If she had regretted she should have apologise when she first saw him, instead of throwing insults.

That's a wonderful story, full of misunderstandings that are eventually explained. But they caused Rick not to finish school. And yet, they were meant to keep him safe. There is only so much a kid can take before they have to get away. In Rick's case, he brought joy to many and earned a living he enjoyed.
@sjmcc13 Interesting. Perhaps that accounts for the grammar problem as not all languages are word for word interchangeable. And it is sad that Japanese culture would promote the thwarting of belonging within schools, especially when being a teenager can feel awkward enough because of physical maturational changes.
