Yeah, back when y'all were doing Friday lives, the amount of times I recommended BI BTBT and Ciara's Jump, of course the former being the relevant one here. My fav BI song of all time. Omfg, the flow. The performance MV left me *gagged!* My jaw was on the floor the entire time...

Thank you so much for reacting to iKON and BOBBY. I guess the best way to check out their songs are by watching iKON and BOBBY KILLING VERSE. Also the album for Tantara and U is called Take Off and the whole album is fire!! There’s also solo songs from the other members in there which is a first so hope you could check the whole album out! I guess one way to introduce yourself to the other members is by watching a Guide to iKON. One of the members Jay is also planning to release a solo album soon, and also BOBBY is planning to release another album this summer. JU-NE another member, released a solo song from Take Off Album called Want You Back, also released a drama OST in which he was acting on called Accidental Love and also released a KRNB English song called Night Flight!
Hi! Thank you for watching and for sharing these recommendations! I definitely want to check out iKON & BOBBY'S Killing Voice videos - I heard they were great! And maybe I'll check out the Take Off album like you said to get a sense of the group and some of the solo releases!!
I discovered iKON 2 years ago when I was watching Kingdom and they blew me away. I then realized that person who wrote my favorite album in 2017 Love and Fall, Bobby, was part of iKON. I love that iKON can sing any genre. Their album Take Off is so, so good. Tantara was a throwback to late 80s-90s hip hop. Their song U was going back to their roots. The U videos has different objects, dance moves from previous music videos. You should probably check out iKON and Bobby's Killing Verse. iKON are the absolute best during live concerts--so much energy. If you're in a sad mood, go to an iKON concert--you feel energized afterwards. Also, Bobby's album Lucky Man and iKON's Flashback albums are vibes--both are so good.
I forgot they were on Kingdom!! Maybe I should check out some of those performances too!
Drowning, Cherry B, and U MVs are connected!!
Drowning is story of him in love like a one time thing (dreaming) and woke up in Cherry B were he felt like he really love her n longing for her, in U MV his friends drag him out frm his sorrow and go for a road trip.. they even used the same room!
It’s common if u kinda used to U sound coz they hv been a lot in kpop but apparently it’s the 1st for iKON to do this genre,, they’re known as khiphop grp but they’ve done every genre.. Tantara was a pre release and it’s for the fans, thus it’s hiphop and U is the title track for the casual listeners..

Bobby is that one member in a group that would catch your attention and once you fall, it's hard to recover. You get stuck with Bobby for a long time. He is not the best dancer nor vocal but he has that effortless charisma and swag that is hard to not notice. Please react to iKON's and Bobby's Kiling Verse. Please and thank you!

ikon is still ikon but a lot happier in their new agency 143. their songs have more english lyrics than before and their released mvs have eng translation upon release. their mvs also have more story as they are more hands on on them

Bobby has a unique sound so you its him but his style also changes which is awesome as well because if i heard U MAD and then cherry blossom I would not think they are by the same artist. IkON is great and I loved hearing the album and what the members created themselves.

It always makes me happy when someone points out Bobby's music production itself creates a very precise thematic atmosphere. Especially because in Cherry Blossom it's very subdued. Some people want to box him in the hype category. THE ARTISTIC TALENT NEEDS MORE APPRECIATION. HELLO??? AND YES, he is in fact the main producer and songwriter of his solo tracks. Not media play and having a long list of people in the song credits. EVERY single song in his self-produced solo albums is like that sounding distinct with the theme. IM NOT KIDDING. That's why IDGAF who's the most popular in K-pop bc shitty mgmt always sucks. smh Another thing, Bobby is not only incredibly talented but also UNIQUE. Off stage he has an approachable, very sweet, fun, down-to-earth personality. On stage he is a beast.
iKON AS A GROUP IS INCREDIBLY VERSTAILE YET ALWAYS SOUNDS DISTINCTLY LIKE THEM. YOU CAN REALLY HEAR THE EMOTIONS IN THEIR SINGING. THEY EAT EVERY CONCEPT AND HAS AN AUTHENTIC ENERGY. INCREDIBLE TEAMWORK, SYNERGY AND VERY HANDS ON ON EVERYTHING EVER SINCE. Leaving a big company to pursue growth and freedom and stayed together? That's REAL.

Nothing beats recommending a song bc you know someone would like it and it'd be their vibe and then actually seeing their reaction prove you were right all along. So rewarding to see someone enjoy something so much...
Edit: that I can tell/remember it's Hwiyoung from SF9 and sunwoo from The Boyz. Both rappers and and dancers in their respective groups, but most importantly they did Kingdom with Ikon and were in the same group together for the challenges

Honestly after B.I left, there's a change of music to them cause mostly iKON's song is written by him. But although there's some changes in it, they still had that iKON flavor, sound, & soul. That raspy tone from Bobby & Ju-ne, soul voice from Jay, sweet sound from DK, & that powerful and deep sound from Song & Chan
For this recent album release, DK, Bobby, & Ju-ne is the main producer so you might hear some changes in the sound from the old release on 2019
Hope you could react to them more, btw last year they release a song called But You. And for other members, there's some solo from Ju-ne, DK, & Song on the recent album❤
Oh yeah and and Bobby also had song with the members, like :
- Deep night (with Ju-ne). There's a performance video to it, they also sang this live on last year's concert
- Ur soul ur body (with DK)
- Raining (with Ju-ne)

But it's cool that they've established such a strong sound that they can still have that classic iKON flavour. iKON is with 143 Ent since Jan 1st 2023, Take Off is their first album in their new home. Now, on World Wide Tour that they so deserved. Bobby gonna released one album per season. Jinhwan also gonna have his Solo album soon. Donghyuk plan to have one, next year. It is June, but they are so very busy hahahhahaha. ah, lastly, iKON is iKON.... wherever they are. But iKON essence is just freedom and being carefree and just doing what you want to do without regret
Yeah, when I think of iKON, i very much think hip-hop. BUT, these solo releases from Bobby (who I only really saw as a rapper before this) were such a pleasant surprise! I hope we get to see more sides of them as they develop under their new company!
