This is cute, I think it's great that Paris didn't mention her father MJ's music in this piece because that's what fans expected her to say, Paris is more than just MJ's daughter. She doesn't need or want to live in her dad's shadow and she doesn't use it to build her career.
She's not just MJ's daughter she's her own person for the good or for bad. Most kids with famous parents live off their parents name and notoriety and spend the rest of their lives being just so and so kid with nothing of own to speak of. While her last name and her father MJ's status may have gotten Paris in the door, I like the fact that Paris is not trying to build her life and career off MJ's name and accomplishments, (I truly believe MJ would love and appreciate that) Paris is doing this things for herself and by herself, even though Paris's behavior makes me angry most of the time this video is great 😍

I seriously doubt her father would be proud of her living off her name and not trying to be good at something, to create something.
