And this loses a hell lot of time for both of you. One the one hand, I get it - as a racer you must fight till the end. On the other hand, I am against it if you have laps. If it's the middle of the race, why waste valuable time? However, if it's a penultimate or last lap, that's okay to try to win a position at all costs because it's highly unlikely you will gain another one the same lap. If I were 364, I'd wait for half a lap to see if I am fast enough, and then try to make a normal overtake, which typically doesn't lose much time.
