Absolutely. They can work all day. The other thing that we find is that it takes a few minutes to turn the machines around at the end of the row and the crew tends to get off the machine and stretch their legs before getting back on to head in the other direction. We know that they are wasting a few minutes of time, but it is still WAY faster than any picking we did without the machine. If they pick non-stop from one side of the field to the other, they will have to turn the machine around about once every hour and a half. They also take scheduled water and lunch breaks as well.
its very interesting. I'm sure there is some soreness and pain but probably much less than bending all the way down constantly. Also shaded! It honestly looks pretty nice compared to normal harvesting.

What are they getting paid by ...boxes or by hour .....contrató or por hora
