In today's kalyuga, even some parents dont love their kids. Cant generalize anymore sadly. I know of a mother who left her child, i know of a father who did the same. Please be self reliant and stay connected to god - whatever you call it - allah/ jesus/ krishna etc. It is all you and your god alone.

Even my grandmother got married at age of 16yrs but was not allowed to stay with husband/in-laws until she turned 18 this was back in 1938/39. I'm from Kerala, most girls I knew/cousins/ neighbors mostly got married after education & getting a job. Same with my sister n me, education & job was a focus, marriage once we're 24+ only it's been that way for more than 25yrs. Whatever it is she's strong to fight and be focused to achieve what she wants in life.Hope women stand up for themselves, Iv seen young girls in US having children at a very young age.

From Kasauti Zindagi Kay, both Shweta and Urvashi went through same ups and downs in their personal lives but I think Urvashi is more mentally strong than Shweta.. The reason is family support.. What made Urvashi ride through easily was her parental backup and this is what Shweta missed and is still missing.. Shweta lost her family support since the day she entered filmdom and that's why she was always misused by one or other. Moral: When you venture into any job, always earn the confidence of your parents so that they may work like a seaman on stormy seas.
