This challenge is always super fun! despite all the shouting at each other, we are all friends and laugh about it afterwards! This was 100% the most difficult attempt with everything that happened! Hope you all enjoyed!

To be fair that might also be the accent given that he is German and we genuinely sound like that imo😂Plus he is taking the challenge more serious than James who is always very chill. I'm not sure if Hens is a comp player, that might just be this mentality of wanting to perform coming through.
@@flevami Hens is a comp player. Though I feel like, ironically, Otz was being the most serious early on. Hens only seemed to get more serious towards the end of the challenge. He was goofing off with James in an earlier episode while Otz was panicking. lol

@@flevami Otz actually wants to complete the challenge while the rest literally think it's just soloq 1v1 the killer for content. It is very frustrating to see how often they fail as a team because of this, they lost several games for no good reason. If you watch Hens and his team it is night and day.

In a weird way it's good to lose these challenges sometimes. Really drives the point that it is in fact a challenge and very difficult. The fact that you guys had the problems you had and were only a couple pips away from succeeding really speaks to how well you guys did.

I know James already said this but please everyone none of the boys are toxic nor do they hate each other, even if the comms are a bit rough sometimes. Thats just how it is sometimes if there is something on the line with a few competitive people trying to achieve something.

Couldn't have said it better myself! So many viewers on the Hardcore vids - both for past seasons and current - have taken the words in the vids way more seriously than the people ACTUALLY IN the video and doing the challenge.
You can say whatever you want and try to virtue signal for peace like a plane marshaller but Hens is still an annoying asshole who seems to have 0 care for his teammate. The dudes playing with a sliced finger, maybe get off his ass and try not to be so fuckin insufferable? Seems like a much healthier. Otz can be really agitated too but nobody is as rude as Hens is and pretending it's all cool is exactly why we as people have issues normalize unnecessary passive aggression.

It's like if the apprentice electrician makes a mistake it's expected, but a master electrician shouldn't be making very many mistakes

I loved watching everyone's POV in this challenge! The negative and judgy comments from viewers are really unfortunate but personally I love what each of you brought to the table. I watch a lot of comp dbd and this was refreshingly different while still being a more serious challenge. I think Hens was a great addition to the team and hope you'll all retry hardcore soon ❤

Obviously it requires skill and precise timing, but I wish blatant bugs like this to play around the limitations of killer powers weren't as widely accepted as they are (another great example is blight's hugtech)
If they're going to fix unintended mechanics like interrupting survivor stagger with vaults, they should fix these as well for consistency.

James is the sole reason these videos were watchable at all. Despite all the high pressure environment, he still managed to keep the viewers entertained with his commentary and make light of situations whilst showcasing impeccable looping skills, with a few mishaps here and there. I can't begin to imagine what this challenge would look like with 4 people of Hens' mentality, just blaming each other for every wrong key press and malding over miniscule things... yikes.

@@rayromano5223 you new at pvp games or something? streamers that rage in teambased pvp games are rarely well received. bringing down a group is counterproductive to the goal of winning, so raging is quite literally the worst thing you can do. if e-sports were to be held to a standard of actual sports, then people like hens wouldn't ever be drafted long term.

Shenanigans only mostly Jrm and partially Ayrun=> hard to do an actually difficult challenge while just messing arround. There are better types of content that would be more suitable for that.
Just serious sweating (otz and hens) => definitely the right mindest for a difficult challenge but if I wanna see sweat lord gameplay only I can just watch comp instead.
The combination is what makes it so unique and adds another personal challenge for everyone.
Jrm tries to take it more seriously and hens and otz are continously reminded that isnt an actual tournament.
It is absolutly normal to be emotional at times during a challenge. I get that it can be frustrating for hens and otz if people dont know call outs or how to play certain situations (like hit tanks) in the most efficent way. I also understand that is incredible exhausting trying to keep everything in mind if you are not a comp player yourself. I understand the difficulties looking from both perspectives. Sad that many people are incapable of seeing/noticing this.
In the end that is exactly what makes hardcore survivor season sooo entertaining and different :)

I feel James' struggle with controller, but it also makes me giggle, because I'm the weirdo who prefers playing with controller (before anyone flames me for it, mouse and keyboard for longer periods of time causes a lot of strain on my wrists and outer portion of my palms where my pinkie and thums connect.
