If you were threatened by a TH-camr into buying a ridge wallet. I'm going breakdown mistakes made and what you should do in How to beat the TH-camr in Nerd Explains
They don’t. They just stop until they get the urge to do it again. Problem is that can last anywhere from 24 hours to 24 years. That’s why (along with lazy policing) they’re so hard to catch
As a filmmaker, a neat trick she could’ve done was enable GPS on her camera (as many cameras have this), and/or rent gear from a rental house that will have trackers in their kits. Now a third party has access to her location and when she doesn’t show up for the rental return they’ll find exactly what’s going on. Also 1k a day is way too low considering the circumstances (full day labor + gear on a travel shoot should start at twice that for any pro doing the job).
I was also thinking that $1k/day gear included was really low, but then it makes sense that the killer would intentionally court folks who think otherwise. If you're doing a professional shoot through an agency or something, that's one thing, but if you're an indie trying to make rent with your prosumer handicam, then you're much more likely to stick around after the crazy pitch.
This really was a creepy character. Super creepy. He's a great actor. I first saw him in a 2012 time traveling movie called "safety not guaranteed", which i thoroughly enjoyed too.
Maaan I was really hoping the movie would end where she does kill him, but in self defense (which is what he wanted), but she'd get some sick thrill from it and her experiences with Aaron would leave her messed up to the point where she ends up being the next creep and starts killing, carrying Aaron's torch. It felt like that's what the movie was leading up to. Instead she runs away, he finds her, and it ends...

"It's not like an actual serial killer would voluntarily record himself confessing to all his heinous crimes" Sir...I won't blame you if you haven't but...have you heard of Lenard Lake and Charles Ng?! That's kind of what they did!
I'm surprised trichotillomania was mentioned in this movie. I have it, and I'm lucky that I only compulsively pull out my eyelashes. It used to be my eyebrows too, but most people that have this issue pull out huge patches of leg or arm hair, or have huge bald spots on their heads that are very noticeable. It's OCD and stress-related. When I have an eyelash that bothers me, even though it's probably only a centimeter long, it feels like something huge is stuck in my eye and I have to get it out. And I will hyperfocus on it so hard that I can sit and pull at it for hours until it comes out. I have compulsively pulled at my eyelashes and eyelids for so long and zoned out so hard that I end up pulling off skin and bleeding without noticing. It's just a shitty illness to have.
geez. has to hurt like hell. surely there has to be a bit of masochism that comes with it? btw pulling out hair or shaving only increases growth rate of it
@@Wertzuio nah i wouldn't say masochism at all, i don't find pleasure from any sort of pain and never have. i question it sometimes because it does hurt, especially when i've gone so far i'm bleeding, but i think that's why it's related to OCD. it's an impulse so strong i absolutely can't stop myself or focus on anything else when it's happening. i could zone out so much i'd start drooling and i'd be so hyper focused on that one eyelash coming out i wouldn't even notice. when you're that focused, everything else falls to the wayside, so the pain is almost a background thing at this point. it's like i just accept it because i simply /have/ to get that eyelash out because i feel it and will continue to feel it and be bothered by it until it's gone.
I cant help but question that Aaron didn't see the large human shaped shadow moving directly behind him in broad daylight. Unless he was 100% checked out during his situation he should have noticed before being cleaved like a slab of beef.
But then to avoid her leaving he also admits to be a pathological liar. It's also strange that he decides to go after her the first night. His MO is to play the creep, harass his victims for a week and then go for the kill. I'm starting to believe that the theories about him actually keep playing this role, staging this video with her to give her “the most amazing content” because he says he likes her and once she left and feels secure he goes after her. Maybe when she sees him in that bus filming her she finally realizes that he is doing the same that he did with Aaron, she looks shocked maybe not because she expected him to be dead (if she did, it would have implied that she called 911 to be rescued, because I can't see her driving back by herself for 3 hours while bleeding and obviously said the guy who did this is in the woods and was certain that the body was found, which didn't happen) but more her finally realizing he is a serial killer because there is no reason for him creepily filming her in that bus while whistling the same melody he did when showed her that video. I hope they clarify this in the Creep 3.
You know, I've watched about four summaries/how to beats/explaineds on this movie, and you are the *first* to make the very good point about him lying about his beard. (Especially considering that I think those other videos would've actually made different conclusions about the characters if they'd had the same realization.)
This movie was especially disturbing. I was just trying to watch Aaron live his best life and that creep just made everything so disturbing. Filming everything he does, taking his money and then killing him Oh well
i feel like if a person who gets scared or anxious easily is in some horror movie, they would usually win by not going into somewhere scary like a very dark room, haunted house and other stuff
At the end when he hands her the knife she should've stabbed him in the chest or neck a bunch of times. THEN ran. Edit: After stabbing him to death, GET YOUR CAR KEYS then run! 😂
She shouldn't have risked it at all. Now that she knows he was serious about him being a serial killer she should have known he has more experience that she does and even injured (if really, maybe he faked it just like the hanging or at least made superficial stabs knowing where) will be able to take the knife from her. But once she hit him in the head, yes, she should have finished him. From all her injuries that would have been a clear self defence. There are theories that both actually faked it, she never realized he was a serial killer he just made that video for her as he promised yet in the end was unable to resist and stalked her anyway. Could make sense because she is able to survive those wounds and he that hit in the head plus possibly not fatal superficial wounds. There are 3 hours from the nearest city so she had to run back to that house, find it not knowing the terrain, and either risk it and wait there for help to arrive (which she didn't because if she called 911 the police would have found the guy unconscious in the forest) or drive 3 hours while injured. Would be a nice plot twist for the creep 3 that will be made in the end, but I wonder if he also decided to not fatally stab her and actually hoped to be killed. He turned his back to her just like the real Aaron did and he commented about how that was not the best move. So I'm not really sure about the ending , he kept lying so even if those 24 hours didn't pass we can't take his word but he does reprimand her for lying and reminds her how he promised he won't kill her till 24 hour had passed and how he tries to be fair with his victims and give them hints in the shape of huge red lights. It seems also a part of his MO to play “the creep” with his victims for a week or so, but here he decides to attack her during the first night. Technically following his MO, him playing a creepy guy with her, helping her to film that video then coming after her a week later would made sense if it didn't include the part of him committing that murder that still must be investigated.
