  • In this hilarious and unexpected scene from "Land of the Lost," Rick Marshall, played by the incomparable Will Farrell, attempts to make amends with his friends after a series of mishaps. In a moment of vulnerability, Will Farrell's character, Rick, decides to express his apology through song, showcasing his musical talents and adding a touch of comedy to the heartfelt moment. As Rick serenades his companions, portrayed by the talented Danny McBride and Anna Friel, he is blissfully unaware of the looming danger that lurks nearby.

Unbeknownst to Rick (Will Farrell), a giant mosquito has set its sights on him, slowly draining the blood from his body as he continues his musical apology. The scene takes a comedic turn as Will Farrell's character begins to feel the effects of the mosquito's attack, his energy waning with each passing note. In a moment of pure physical comedy, Rick finally succumbs to exhaustion and falls backward, inadvertently crushing the now-enormous mosquito beneath him. Will Farrell's timing and comedic prowess shine in this unexpected and side-splitting moment that perfectly captures the absurdity and humor that "Land of the Lost" is known for.
"Land of the Lost," starring Will Farrell, Danny McBride, and Anna Friel, will be available for streaming on Netflix starting June 1, 2024.

    What’s the movie about?
Dr. Rick Marshall (Will Ferrell from Talladega Nights and The Producers) is a nerdy paleontologist. Drawn into a space-time spiral, he is ejected into a parallel world. He finds himself without weapons or special skills to survive in a world of marauding dinosaurs and other fantastical creatures from another world - a land of spectacular visions and outrageous comic effects known as The (Almost) Lost World. Holly (Anna Friel from The Land Girls and Limitless), his doting assistant, and Will (Danny McBride from Pineapple Express and This Is the End), a resourceful hillbilly, are also on the journey. Pursued by T. rex and Sleestaks (excruciatingly slow reptiles), Marshall, Will and Holly have only one ally, a primate named Chaka (Jorma Taccone), to help them navigate this umpteenth dimension. If they make it through, they'll be heroes; if they fail, they'll be perpetual prisoners of this (almost) lost world.

@FredPlanatia true although the mosquito didn't suck as much blood as it did on his back, it still was a significant amount he sucked on his neck as well. Enough for a bite to be visible.
