Geography in school isn't just learning about countries. It's also like : What causes storms? Idk about you, but here in Finland as a geography nerd, I have learnt more in school than in the internet.

0:46 There’s technically three cities in this photo. Of course NYC is the most famous one, but the other two are on the west side, Jersey City and Newark. I lived in Jersey City for a few years and not only is it pretty diverse like NYC but it’s also very convenient when it comes to transit. I mean both them and Newark have their own light-rail systems, something NYC doesn’t have. And also unlike NYC, it’s cheaper and thus you get more bang for your buck.

I'm quite pleased with my score of 24/30. I was pretty lucky that I had just recently learned that Georgia calls itself Sakartvelo. I am kinda mad that I got the Eritrea question wrong (I answered Somalia), I really should have known that one.
Anyway, Jack, you should learn the capitals next! It's really not that hard (And if you Do struggle with it, that's just more content, so it's a win-win)
Yeah that’s really good; I didn’t get any of the native names or the Australian airline but I got everything else (27/30). It’s kind of useless knowledge but quite fun to learn

Watching your videos as an American has made me realize I actually know names of countries throughout the world and info about them much better then names of states in my own nation and differences between them. I don’t know how to feel about that.

The only reason I got Georgia right is because of my linguistics knowledge. I know Georgian is part of the Kartvelian language family, so when I saw "Sakartvelo", I thought "Hmmm sounds like Kartvelian, so I'm gonna guess Georgia". I didn't really expect to be right, but I was.

@@MrZorx In general, Slavic countries in their languages are pretty similar to their English names (except Hrvatska for Croatia and Crna Gora for Montenegro), but Slovakia is a tricky one, because it's Slovensko. You are very tempted to say it's Slovenia, but it's not. Slovenia is Slovenija.

How to remember ivory coast and
Ireland. Ivory coast🇨🇮 has green on the right side and in africa if you go on the right side there is rain forestes and on the left side is a desert. So then this 🇨🇮 is ivory coast and the other one is ireland🇮🇪. I hope this helps you.

I’ve been doing geography for over 8 years. I managed to get 28/30 (which includes a few guesses) but I’m very proud of it knowing I scored higher than most people.
Which ones didn’t you get (I got 27/30)? I didn’t know the native names for Bangkok and Georgia and the name of the Australian airline company

@@jwkkwu yeah I guessed somewhere in Indochina but I didn’t know it was Thailand. As for the length, I assume it’s just the shorter version and probably the one that people use (for matters of practicality)
