Wow Cheryl! When you added that kitsch flamingo and picked raspberry to those inlaid pieces I thought, ‘That is so pretty!”. Along with the silver it is just stunning! On your second card I loved the same two colors on the poinsettias, then you continued on and added the candy canes and then the black! It just popped off the page! It is just gorgeous! I am always so impressed with your beautiful cards! Thank you Cheryl!
Cardstock shims are definitely more gentle and flipping the die over so the blade side is up also help a lot if you’re having trouble cutting with it. Also cutting with it when it’s placed the opposite way of the warping should help flatten it as well💕
I always enjoy your videos! Your card designs are beautiful and I always learn something while watching your videos. Both cards are stunning and I also used my negative foils. I die cut a lot in my card making. I have the platinum 6 and I still have a problem with my cutting plates curling. I flip my plates constantly. I noticed in your videos your plates are flat even though I can tell your cutting plates are used a lot. Should I just replace them or is there another secret to make them last longer? Thank you 😊
Thank you💕 I will periodically use Jennifer McGuires technique to flatten my plates a bit more. I use a baking sheet and place my plate in there. Pour boiling water over it from the kettle and then place a big soup pan that I’ve just boiled water in for the heat as well as the weight over the cutting plate and let it cool. I repeat these steps as often as needed. I’ve never gotten them 100% flat but they do improve nicely 😊
After the 10th of November it will be available to purchase individually without signing up for the club. Right now it’s only available to current club members and those wishing to sign up for clubs 😊

I have the exact die, but I warped it by using too many shims and my metal plate :( I wondered how to use this one, so thank you for showing us this.
