If you push the metal back piece forward first, then the pans will “snap” in more securely and stay in place. :) I like to push the metal in, then line the pan up against the short metal rail in front, and push the back of the pan down gently til it snaps into place. I hope that makes sense. Another great video; as always, very much appreciated!
you should holcd all chinese brush verticaly much strait then u use to other brush. being straighter u have much better feel of pressure and water volume control.

My Mei Liang came with individually wrapped half pans--I guess I got lucky.
