Dogson was literally full of stress and spammed couple of heros only after winning the second ti he got really good. Only notail and ceb kept being decent. Look at nigma kuro is so washed up he refused to coach the team and step down. Pulled mc to become a washed up pos3 as well. Miracle and gh needs to join another team to get back on track of being one of the best in their position. Look at ame the Chinese player he was slaying and still is on lgd but since his teammates always have issues he can’t carry the team to win any ti. He keeps getting to 3-2 place every ti

IMO Ceb had the best overall performance this major for OG. Dude played pos5 for the first time and was able to have so much impact playing heroes like wind and monkey. It was hard for teams to decide whether they wanted to use bans on cebs heroes.

This is the power of notail and ceb they are really smart. Never let the opposite team outdraft them. Stay positive during the game and their spirit just snowballs. While other teams start to blame each other they just make fun of their rivals. Ceb also shows what a gifted player he is and what a deep understanding he has of the game switching positions and seems like the best pos5 in the world he is.
I think having ceb as standin really help this new roster to keep their spirit and actually winning the major. I feel like ceb really shine when the team was down and behind.

There are a couple of all chat and callouts against OG in the Major and literally every single one got punished. I watch all 4 games live and after game 1 i was like OG looks kinda shaky. Game 3 was amazing but OG was just on a truly different level. TSM's draft was better imo since they had easier win conditions to execute and have better heroes for prolonged fights while beeing beefy but BZM happened, completely nullifying their advantages by sheer mechanical skil Yuragi's positioning was also amazing, dishing out damage despite not being a typical sustain carry hero.
with CEB on team +100 PERFORMANCE on your team. CEB is the core of OG no cap. I watched it on True sight when all members are so down. He JUST boost their confidence and comeback and WIN.
It is really amazing for Ceb on how he quickly adapt to his new position. It's not the first time that this change of roles happened as Notail switched from pos 1 to pos 5 a few months before TI8 began, but it is really commendable for players to achieve it especially when the stakes are high. Also great job to the rest of the OG members. They really stepped up their game. Also good job to Taiga as the lead support role because some games felt like there are 3 pos 1 players, Ceb sometimes being a carry because of habit (13 kills on WR in group stage), and the supporting role is really up to Taiga.

The entire grand final was a vision game, TSM continually failing to find wards. OG pretty much had vision the entire time, even though their ward spots were very obvious.
I mean, 3rd match on paper and early to mid, TSM always seems ahead of OG. Looking at Ammar itemization as well, it was unusual for him not to be "2nd carry" of the team. But, the way they adapt quickly with roles, itemization, and the way they outplayed TSM timings on Saberlight ult is thing of beauty. 3rd game really shows how good these new OG are.

I think it's because they come across as having more personality than most other teams. They play with a lot of emotion and that's what people really relate to. I think that's why people were really behind Na'Vi in the beginning. You had Dendi's character livening everything up. With OG, you've got an incredible backstory, they literally phoenix'd in 2018. It just gets better and more interesting when the new roster comes into play. I think it just makes it fun to watch. Like if you watch Secret play... it's like watching a bunch of Easter Island statues. Same thing with the Chinese, when they're playing it's like it's a militaristic style. OG is still remembering to have fun with the game. At least that's my opinion.

Man, Ammar's DK with aether lens, force staff and aeondisk was game changer. He saved Yuragi's multiple times that helped them win that crucial game 3

Always love to see a team climbing from lower bracket and win the series. They became more menacing the more they win. and the best part is, lower bracket have more games that upper bracket which mean they have more chance to show their domination. Congrats to OG and well played for both teams!

This is the power of notail and ceb they are really smart. Never let the opposite team outdraft them. Stay positive during the game and their spirit just snowballs. While other teams start to blame each other they just make fun of their rivals. Ceb also shows what a gifted player he is and what a deep understanding he has of the game switching positions and seems like the best pos5 in the world he is.

Ceb-sama is so good. He let OG won TI 9 when he was coach and did pos3 first time. In TI 10 he had eye surgery and played with 1 eye and was best pos3 ever. Now he is standing in pos5 first time and won major. That shackle, laning, positining, he is best dota player i know.
There are a couple of all chat and callouts against OG in the Major and literally every single one got punished.
I watch all 4 games live and after game 1 i was like OG looks kinda shaky. Game 2 3 4 happened and it was a total masterclass plays after plays by OG especially game 3.

Game 3 was amazing but OG was just on a truly different level. TSM's draft was better imo since they had easier win conditions to execute and have better heroes for prolonged fights while beeing beefy but BZM happened, completely nullifying their advantages by sheer mechanical skil Yuragi's positioning was also amazing, dishing out damage despite not being a typical sustain carry hero.

It is really amazing for Ceb on how he quickly adapt to his new position. It's not the first time that this change of roles happened as Notail switched from pos 1 to pos 5 a few months before TI8 began, but it is really commendable for players to achieve it especially when the stakes are high. Also great job to the rest of the OG members. They really stepped up their game. Also good job to Taiga as the lead support role because some games felt like there are 3 pos 1 players, Ceb sometimes being a carry because of habit (13 kills on WR in group stage), and the supporting role is really up to Taiga.
It was expected for OG to win. OG never lose in a best of 5 series.

The entire grand final was a vision game, TSM continually failing to find wards. OG pretty much had vision the entire time, even though their ward spots were very obvious.

I mean, 3rd match on paper and early to mid, TSM always seems ahead of OG. Looking at Ammar itemization as well, it was unusual for him not to be "2nd carry" of the team. But, the way they adapt quickly with roles, itemization, and the way they outplayed TSM timings on Saberlight ult is thing of beauty. 3rd game really shows how good these new OG are.

Dunno man, when OG win any tournament, it really hits different man.
I think it's because they come across as having more personality than most other teams. They play with a lot of emotion and that's what people really relate to. I think that's why people were really behind Na'Vi in the beginning. You had Dendi's character livening everything up. With OG, you've got an incredible backstory, they literally phoenix'd in 2018. It just gets better and more interesting when the new roster comes into play. I think it just makes it fun to watch. Like if you watch Secret play... it's like watching a bunch of Easter Island statues. Same thing with the Chinese, when they're playing it's like it's a militaristic style. OG is still remembering to have fun with the game. At least that's my opinion.
